We went to see Matilda and had a good time. The chairs are extremely uncomfortable especially after sitting 5 hours, which is the time it took from the start of dinner to the end of the show. The speaker system is not well equipped and it sounds very muffled in the back of the show room. It was disappointing not to be able to hear the show clearly. The family next to us had the same issue and ended up leaving before the show was over. I know this issue has been mentioned before but nothing has been done so I thought I would mention again.

The food wasn't very good. For the price you pay, I expected better. It would also be beneficial to have some kind of food during intermission to hold over the crowd because a lot of us talked about how we were starving by intermission!

The cast did a great job even through the muffled sound.

Overall, it didn't feel worth the cost. We really wanted to love it but it fell flat.

Lacomedia is such a magical place. Its so great to have an affordable option to see quality productions with excellent food and caring staff. My waitresses have always felt like family; taking genuin interest in our experience past and present. My son has grown up here and I can't say enough good things.

The performance was great. We saw Matilda and the actors were excellent but we couldn't understand them very well, don't know if it was the sound system or what. However if you come for the food I wouldn't recommend it, it is quite subpar. The sweet potato souffle is extremely sweet, other items are tasteless. The chocolate cake also extremely sweet, very dense and hardly edible. The only thing I liked was the ham. For the price, it's not a good value.

We had a great night enjoying dinner and a show. The food was enjoyable and themed to the show. There was a good selection to choose from. The show was well done.

Our waitress was not very good and could have easily made our night one we’d want to forget. However, the manager there was fantastic and completely turned our night around. This was my first time coming but will be coming back due to her efforts. Show was fantastic great performance. The show as was so good. Can’t rave about that enough.

We saw Matilda. It was excellent. My 6 yo granddaughter loves the books and watches YouTube videos of the songs. She dressed as Matilda, it was so fun.

The problem was the sound system. It was difficult to make out the words when someone was singing or talking. The girl who played Matilda is a very good actress but it was hard to understand her words. I thought it was me but the other three at our table said the same thing. It was hard to understand many others. We have season tickets and I have found the sound is not good.

The new owners have really improved on the productions. Enjoy them more.

Performance was wonderful. Very talented group of kids. Food very mediocre. Cod was the only thing that was good. Chairs after sitting for a few hours weren't comfortable.

Temperature was warmer than expected. My daughter and I were hot. Show was to start at noon, didn't start until 12:50. This is the 4th time that I've gone, usually annually with my granddaughters that the show has started 30 minutes to an hour late. Service was good to start with, but, didn't come back around at intermission to refill our water even. Food tasted good, I wish they had more kid friendly food items. Show was very good!

First time visiting LaComedia and the experience was great but long! Found a Bogo on Clipp.com so was definitely worth the money. We saw Matilda, a childhood favorite growing up. Food: Meat was delicious and tender, sides left a lot to be desired. Veggies undercooked, potatoes were good. Would have liked steak sauce offered for the beef tenderloin. Bar drinks were lacking and too sweet...will definitely skip those next time. Recommend ordering anything you may want before show starts for intermission when they come around to ask as they do not take orders during this time. Water was refilled during intermission, would have liked to get coffee offered as well. Our server was great and on top of things. Definitely takes a lot of organization and team work for things to run smoothly. Plan to go back for Scrooge!
