We enjoyed this place. The beer was cold. Good selection. Service was good. I would recommend this place.

Came for the espresso martini flight and was not disappointed!! The food was good and everything was reasonably priced. The service was great too, I’ll definitely be back!

Great little place with great food, and pretty big alcohol selection. Service was great. My only negative is the small parking lot.

Sooo, today was a co-worker’s work anniversary and we went to Mr. Boro’s Tavern, located in Springboro for lunch. It was your typical bar/tavern set up, with nothing special to it. We started out w/ a couple of appetizers; Buckeye pretzel bites and hot honey bites. The pretzel bites were warm and soft, with a nice beer cheese for dipping. I am not sure what to make of the hot honey bites and there were mixed reviews around the table. They were cream cheese balls coated w/ crushed pretzels, served w/ a hot honey siracha sauce for dipping. If it wasn’t for the description, I would not have known it was cream cheese or that the coating was pretzels. It reminded me more of pimento cheese and it was felt by one person that the dipping sauce was too sweet.

Companion one ordered the bourbon street burger. Because the waitress did not write down the orders, she forgot about companion one’s burger. When it was delivered, the cheese was cold. Despite this, companion one thought it was a good tasting burger and was messy as described. Companion two ordered the grilled cheese special which consisted of gouda cheese, onions, and bacon jam, with a side of chili. Companion two had to allow the sandwich to cool off a bit before eating. Once a bite was taken, it was felt that there was too much bacon jam which made the sandwich messier than it needed to be. As for the chili, it was felt that the meat was too fine and left a sandy taste, however, it was seasoned well.

Companion’s three and four ordered the same thing: smoked pulled bourbon chicken sandwich w/ sidewinder potatoes on the side. Both enjoyed the sandwich very much and felt the sidewinder potatoes were good w/ a nice kick of ‘slap your mama’ seasoning. Companion three really enjoyed the pineapple coleslaw. Companion four struggled to identify the pineapple in the coleslaw, however once added to the sandwich, it enhanced the overall flavor of both the chicken and the slaw.

Companion five ordered the buffalo chicken grilled cheese sandwich w/ tomato bisque on the side. It was felt that the sandwich was cheesy and gooey as it should be, and the tomato bisque had a nice kick to it. It was jokingly commented that the bisque was more reminiscent of the chili in terms of looks than the actual chili itself. The bisque was filling, thus a doggie bag was needed for the remainder of the sandwich. Companion six ordered the goat cheese roasted red pepper pulled chicken flatbread w/ a spring salad on the side. The flatbread was flavorful. Companion six requested grilled chicken be added to the salad and this really enhanced it. The grilled chicken had a nice seasoning to it and the Caribbean mango vinaigrette was thoroughly enjoyed, which made the salad taste better than most.

As for me, although the menu was a decent size, there was nothing that was a must try for me. Since I had not had it in years, I only went w/ the mini dog sliders and tater tots on the side. There was nothing special about the tater tots, they were just lightly sprinkled w/ a supposed parmesan seasoning. As I am writing this, I just realized I didn’t get the house made ranch sauce that the menu says comes w/ the tots. As for the dog sliders, basically, they were three mini Nathan’s hot dogs. Being a New Yorker, I am hard pressed to find a hot dog w/ onions such as I would find from a NY street vendor. So, I settled on one chili dog and the other two w/ sauerkraut and mustard. The hot dog itself was good. However, I agreed w/ companion two’s assessment of the chili. The meat was ground too fine, which made me question if it was homemade or from a can. As for the sauerkraut dog, I don’t understand why the mustard w/ at the bottom of the hot dog as opposed to on the top w/ the sauerkraut. It did not provide a good mouthfeel.

Bottom line, there was nothing that was a standout for me. It would not be a place I would suggest, so I doubt I would ever return.

Nothing special. Patrons cliquish....unfriendly to outsiders.....

First time visit. Passed this place a million times and thought it was just a hole in the wall. Was pleasantly surprised that it was cozy and had amazing food. May have found a new spot for me and my wife for nights out. Grilled cheese and beer cheese was amazing. Can't wait to see what other surprises this book has for us in the future!

The women’s bathroom is motivating. 😅 cool place. Fun vibes. Definitely a successful business. The owner doesn’t like people carving M’s on the bartop so whoever carved it the owner doesn’t like you😂 don’t carve things out on the bartop. I’m assuming he worked hard to keep this place nice! Pineapple cider is good btw. The clientele isn’t ghetto so that’s nice. I hope the owner kicks out anyone who is coming in acting all ghetto. Looks like it has a good rep. I’d come back.

We when there last Saturday and the wait staff was great. I had the gourmet grill cheese which was amazing. There was a band there that was average. The singer was a bit rude and made it uncomfortable to continue to listen to them. Again, food and wait staff were great.
