I usually do not post restaurant reviews but I just left one of the worst eating experiences.. and this is coming from someone who use to work at a Waffle House. The place barely had any customers but had not been swept in awhile. Here are the highlights… -The waitress was blasting music from her phone most of the meal. - Was never asked for a refill. - Did not get half of our silverware. - Never got my daughter’s bacon. - Cook and waitress were on their phones a lot. -The waitress had the cook make her some chicken sausage and proceeded to eat it in front of customers that had just sat & waiting for service. We were there 3/22/25 @ 5:00pm. Just go across the street to Bob Evans for better service.

I walked into this waffle house around 7 am expecting to get a nice breakfast before work. First red flag no one greeted me as I walked in. My first thought was that's no big deal, maybe a shift change who knows how the night went. Second red flag, no one acknowledged me after I had been seated for 10 mins, waitress cleaned the table next to me and never looked at me or said anything. Third red flag, a few more customers walked in and were greeted, moments later their orders were taken, reminder no one has even spoken to me yet. Once 15 mins passed and other customers had been served after walking in after me I just walked out because I couldn't honestly spend my money here after this experience. Which is sad because I like waffle house, guess ill find another location. 😒

To be fair I ate here right after a rush came threw. My waffle was still gooey and un-cooked, Hash browns were raw ,Staff was courteous but made me there very last priority. With the restaurant half full it took the waitress 35minutes to even acknowledge me and take my order.

What happened to this Waffle House? My wife and I have been going here for years and this is not the waffle house we knew. This was the first time we placed a to go order. When we got there, we found out that our order wasn't even started yet. This was 20 mins after the order was placed and when the app said to be there. Then sat there and waited. While waiting we observed the place was filthy. There was raw waffle fragments all around the waffle station, dirty dishes laying about. There were a lot of people sitting at tables and counter waiting for their food. We finally got our food and left. Got to around krogers and looked in the bag and discovered our order wasn't completed. We ordered gravy on our hash browns and there wasn't any. So we went back. The young lady that helped said she forgot to put the gravy on our order and when she went to get some she discovered they didn't have any more gravy and it would take an hour to make it. This is crazy considering the gravy is pre-made in plastic bags. I've seen them. Then she offered us chili instead. Not really feeling like having chili but what are we supposed to do. Ugh!!! So we went home with our food and then we discovered the meat was missing. No bacon and no sausage.
While there we noticed there were 3 cooks that seemed to be clueless, couldn't take the orders, asking the order takers to constantly repeat the orders, getting them mixed up, just outright confusion on the grill and everywhere.
Did this waffle house change management? Ownership? Or what? The regulars that we knew were no where to be found. Everyone working there were new faces to us.
I don't know if we will ever be back to this waffle house. It was an awful experience.

I ordered food the waitress just threw the straws at us then turned away. When me good came I ate it and my buddy told me to look at my plate and I noticed a hair right under my plate which is not something I was wanting to eat around also being a germaphob

Waitress was very good. Food good. The music was way to loud. We almost had to leave. I asked if they could turn it down or we would probably have to leave. And I was very nice. She said she didn't think she could. She went to the back and when she came out she said she couldn't find the remote. Not everyone likes the same music. I know you can't please everyone but you could at least turn it down. Be respectful. So good food but won't be back.

Took my Mother In Law, to her first Bengals Game, afterward we decided to treat her to Waffle House in Springboro Ohio. We was there patiently waiting for 15 mins or so. Another group of five came in. And immediately got waited on. The worst customer service ever. Ended up going to the one in Franklin. Had outstanding service and the food was amazing. So I’m very glad Springboro failed so bad, we wouldn’t have gotten the amazing dinner we had in Franklin!!!
