Came across this restaurant on google and decided to give it a try. From the moment you walk in you’re greeted and made to feel welcome, it feels very homey and like stepping into your aunt’s kitchen. Very authentic food, delicious and very fairly priced. My bf got the Bandeja Paisa (said it was the best rice he’d ever had in his whole life) and an empanada. I had the mazorca desgranada (corn off the Cobb) with chicken and a cheese arepa. Both were so delicious and filling, extremely flavorful. We shared a juice and got a dessert to go as we were both so full. Looking forward to going back. Maria Jose was our server and she was super attentive, friendly and gave us great suggestions.

I love Zona VIP! The food is fantastic and the service is great. As far as what to get, I recommend the Empanadas for a nice snack, and if you want something hearty the Bisteck a Caballo is amazing (it's a flat steak with sauce and an egg on top!).

Yesterday I visited Zona VIP for the first time. It has been on my bucket list for a while, but I have not had the time to eat here. My first visit did not disappoint. I ordered the Bandeja Paisa and all the components of the dish were delicious. The Chicharron, chorizo, carne asada..down to the arepa and fried plantains were terrific. I will definitely return soon.

A beloved gem we’ve cherished for years! My husband and I have been coming to Zona VIP for the past 7–8 years, and it continues to be one of our absolute favorite places. The food is consistently delicious, you can truly taste the love, care, and quality in every bite.
We especially adore the dry rub on the chicharrón , it’s perfectly seasoned and full of flavor. The Bandeja Paisa, empanadas, arepas, and ají are our go-to dishes (and don’t even get us started on the pandebonos — when they make them, they are irresistible!). Honestly, every single dish we’ve tried has been fantastic.
What really sets Zona VIP apart is how much they listen to their customers. My husband is Indian and absolutely loves ají, so we always asks for extra. They noticed that and started offering larger to-go containers, how thoughtful is that? That kind of responsiveness and care is so rare and appreciated.
Beyond the food, what keeps us coming back is the genuine warmth with which we’re always welcomed. There’s a special Colombian hospitality here that makes you feel at home the moment you walk in.

Flavor is not the same as it used to be. Food now taste all the same and dry. The same seasoning is used for all food. We ordered bandeja paisa, salchi papas, picada it all had the same seasoning.

Probably the best tasting Bandeja Paisa I’ve had in a minute. The chicharrón is The best I’ve had ever in this dish. The beans were well cooked. It’s unfortunate that they didn’t have agua panela which is a colombian staple but i loved the food.
