The food here is great and reasonably priced, but they have a major staffing issue that will ruin anyone’s time. I sat for over 20 minutes before they got me a drink, and it wasn’t even our server. I finished my drink within a few minutes each time and it was only refilled once. Probably only had a drink 10% of the time I was there. Took an hour from the time I got there to get food. Truly terrible service. I want to acknowledge all the ladies working the bar and tables are very sweet and trying their best, it’s the owners fault for not hiring more people.

Make no mistake, this is a budget course, but I found it reasonably playable at its price point. Short course, but enough challenge for most average golfers.

In Springfield, OH, on the day of the Presidential debate, Michael Dudley saw a heavy-set white male in his late 50s or early 60s riding a lawnmower, get off the lawnmower with a shotgun & shoot 2 geese near water on Rocky Lake Golf Course. The man picked up the 1st goose & tossed it into the weeds. The 2nd was wounded & had its neck broken by the man & tossed away like the 1st one. Cops talked to the golf mgr on Sept 11th & she admitted that she allowed people to hunt geese on the property & said the hunter was her employee, Brian Comer. Comer called the cops to report himself to say he thought he had a nuisance permit through the golf course to shoot the geese. Cops said the golf course didn’t have such a permit. Comer was cited for hunting w/o an OH wetlands stamp, a 4th degree misdemeanor that carries a maximum 30-day jail term or $250 in fines.

Good food close to home. We always get good service. My husband ordered the Bogey's club and said it was probably the best club he'd ever eaten.

Wheelchair accessibility: No steps to enter. Parking is better than most restaurants but a little hard to read. Sometimes the golfers have to park there and it makes the restaurant look extremely busy. Try going in to check for yourself, you'll find plenty of seating.

I always run into someone I know. It's a good home town tavern with good food, good service and a friendly atmosphere. If you like a hardy Texas Tenderlion sandwich with a ice cold beer, this is the place for you

We have been coming here for years, my parents live in the area and I come visit a couple times a year and we come sit on the patio each visit. The staff is excellent, pizza is so tasty and the atmosphere is wonderful!

This place will charge you for sauce for your wings (not extra sauce, just sauced wings instead of plain) and will charge you extra to toss the wings in sauce. Seriously- they charge you to toss your wings in the sauce you have already bought. Nickel and diming customers like that is crazy. The server wasn’t very nice. The place is dirty- the bathroom doors have smears of black stains that haven’t been cleaned in years, so do your best not to touch them. Wrecked bathrooms, wobbly tables and chairs that are falling apart. I get dive bars aren’t supposed to be top notch, but do yourself a favor and skip this dive bar.
