My friend and I came at 11 on a Saturday. It wasn’t busy at all so if you like an early lunch, like we do, I highly recommend it!This is my go to Mexican restaurant in Springfield.The atmosphere is chill and toned down which makes for an easy place to have a conversation with your party!The food was spectacular! We got the Birria pizza, chalupa, chilli rellano and chicken with rice.Everything was spectacular and full of flavor.My only gripe was the chilli rellano. It’s not a traditional rellano, it’s filled with chorizo. Although tasty, I was somewhat disappointed with it, as I was hoping for a traditional one. Traditional is a pablano charred then stuffed with cheese, dipped in egg batter, fried then covered with sauce. Casa del sabors rellano was a small puck of chorizo with cheese microwaved on top. It was alright. I probably won’t order that again.The pizza Birria was the best part. I will come back again and again just for that!

Service was good as well as most of the food. Great refried beans, salsa chips and chicken. The issue was the ground beef. Tasted very strange and only ate one bite of it, husband tried it and said it tasted like it had a cross between a fish and chemical taste. Luckily I was already full so didn't care to eat the taco anyway. Other than that everything else was good and we would return...minus eating ground beef.
