The salmon, accompanied by a salad, makes for an excellent entree choice, while the candied jalapenos serve as a delightful appetizer. We concluded our meal with a rich crème brûlée and a cup of coffee. The live piano music and exceptional service from the wait staff further enhance the dining experience here.

This restaurant is truly one of Springfields hidden gems and is our go to when we want the best food/service/atmosphere possible. We start with one of their specialty cocktails (chocolate martini anyone?) or a bottle of wine which is a true value. The pinot noir was $12/glass or $25/bottle. For starters, small salads, french onion soup (often on the special menu) and the crab cake are a great choice. I would rate all at a 9 out of 10. Proceeding to the main entree, the lamb chops, scallops, filet mignon, and ribeye are all divine. Yes, they are a little pricey but well worth it as the quality can’t be beat. Their staple side is Augratin potatoes. They are rich, buttery, cheesy and divine. Last night I tried a different side - garlic mashed potatoes with spinach. It was different but think I’d just stick with the plain mashed going forward or the vegetable which is frequently asparagus. If you can find room for dessert, the Crème Brûlée, and cheesecake never disappoint.

Good food
Great restaurant... it was located conveniently by Wittenberg university where I was writing. My companion and I had a great cocktail at the bar before being seated. Our bartender was very friendly and made great cocktails for us. Our bartender was also our server, she was great. we had french onion soup to start, I had the ribeye with garlic scape pesto, my companion chose to all sides, au gratin potatoes, asparagus. wedge salad, abd cucumber onion... all were excellent .overall a great experience.

It was Grandma birthday one of my family members picked the place. Came in sit down ordered our food it took two hours then it was cold by time we was done everyone around us was gone like they purposely didn't serve us until most of everyone was gone then had the nerve to take a tip. To be honest I ain't never sat in a restaurant for over three hours. If it wasn't for my grandmas birthday I would have been left

This is the second time I've had to give an establishment lower than four stars. I want to be fair here. If I don't like a restaurant, I just don't review it usually. To be fair to Cecil and Lime the Lamb Chops and Caesar Salad were excellent, but that is where the flattery stops and I had to really think before judging.I went on a Saturday night for a date after a Candle Light Orchestra concert. We called and the receptionist was very friendly when taking the reservation. Upon arriving the outdoor and indoor decor did not match the prices that were being charged. Everything is ala carte first the dishes I did not care for.The bruschetta was $9 and had the taste and appearance of a $2 loaf of Italian bread cut up and lightly toasted. Tomatoes were from a generic can and had Kroger crumbled Parmesan that you put on a cheap midweek spaghetti dinner to feed a family of five. "Do not get this dish" it's not how properly made bruschetta from a restaurant should be.The $32 steak was a Ribeye and it was flavorful but tough. My date was unimpressed and disappointed as steak is what she wanted. The $38 Rack Of Lamb- I have to say this dish was divine. I extremely liked it and it was the saving grace for this dining experience.Service started okay. However we were left for a long period of time after we received our drinks and during and after the meal. The waitress was friendly but very inattentive. The ambience was semi nicely decorated. But you could tell this was a gutted double wide modular home that was then priced together to try and play Springfield's high end establishment. Paisley Curtains everywhere, houseplants, a makeshift bar, and creaking floors did not help this reviewer. For this lack luster eating experience the total came too $125. the gratuity was cash. No I did not cheat. The waitress received 20%.I wanted to love this place, and find a gem in in this city. However when the prices, service and ambience don't match I can't in good conscious tell anyone to eat here.I have dined in a lot of high end and mom and pop restaurants. I could not in good conscious give this a two because of the Lamb. That again was the only saving grace.

Ate there on an Tuesday evening in their garden room. The food itself was great. The filet was perfectly cooked. The hostess was very nice and gave us our pick of seating. It was a nice and quiet dinner until a guest guitarist came and was disproportionately loud for the given atmosphere. For a $60 steak though, i really do expect high quality "everything", and the silverware and steak knives were very cheap. Very small portions.
