Tried a nice new spot for dinner tonight, Charlo's downtown in Springfield. andrew got the steak and lobster gnocchi and I ordered the Tuscan salmon. We both had smoked gouda Mac n cheese. it was delicious! parking garage conveniently located around the corner. Our server Elena was awesome. Great personality and conversationalist. She gave us recommendations and honest opinions about the menu. I can 100% see why her toddler gets upset if she doesn't bring her mac n cheese...
Absolutely stunning place to eat! I’m so grateful that Springfield is getting more delicious and authentic restaurants. I LOVE the interior—they kept the original name of the previous company, which adds such a unique and aesthetic touch. The waitresses were all incredibly kind, the food was absolutely delicious, and you definitely get your money’s worth. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough!
Got takeout from here on my lunch break and I have got to say that I am impressed by the quality of the food. Everything I had was exceptional and to be honest I didn't even get to eat it hot. The pierogies were so flavorful and the nashville hot chicken was done right. The best part was the buttermilk chicken sandwich with the pimento spread. Exquisite cold, would love to do it again dining in.
