I haven't been to Frisch's in quite a while I stopped last week with my granddaughter we both ordered grilled chicken. When our food came out I cut into the chicken and it was pink inside. I did get the chicken replaced and an apologies. Not sure I will be back anytime soon.

Recently our group of eight went to Springfield Frisch's, E Main st. Service was excellent and the food was fantastic. Most of us had fish sandwiches, onion rings and hot fudge cake. We will definitely be back for more. Good job, Frisch's E. Main crew!

The Big Boys used to be juicy looking and tasted juicy. The hamburgers we received were dry, had a big thick slice of an onion on it, i don't recall having just sauce on one bun only, but it had sauce on one bun. BIG Boys used to be so sloppy that it was hard to hold together which was a good thing. I don't know what the problem is but the big boy has gone down hill seems like it was just slapped on any kind of way. The girl that took the order said the hamburgers don't have tomatoes on it, but we received two that did. The onion was so thick I could barely bite it. Please thin slice the onions. I went up to the buffet and they were out of eggs, bacon, they had one biscuit and I don’t remember what else. It looked pretty empty. The manager was standing there close to the register talking to an employee. And I said excuse me can you bring out more eggs…nicely. He said with an attitude she’s bringing them out. Can you give her a minute? I said yes I can give her a minute. I was just letting you know. I walked back to our table and told the waitress to take my order off please. She said ok. I said your manager is a jerk and I’m not eat here. I told her what he did. She said I’m sorry. I said it’s not your fault. She came back later and said I told him about himself. I said ok thank you. She said I’m sorry. I said it’s not your fault. I just feel sorry for you all having to work for him. A few minutes later he came over to apologize. I put my hand up and asked him to leave that I didn’t want to hear it. He was only apologetic because I called him out on it. But he wouldn’t listen so I got up to walk away from him. But he would leave. So I went back and sat down and he lied. He said all I said was she’s bring them out. I turned around and looked him straight in the eyes & I said no you didn’t. You said, with an attitude, she’s bringing them out. Can you give her a minute? You were not very nice about it. You embarrassed me. I turned my back on him. He then started making excuses for his behavior. He said, I’m sorry it’s just been a bad day. It’s been very busy and the buffet has been hoping and I have a truck out there to be unloaded. I didn’t say anything else and he finally walked away. Any S. was wonderful and apologetic.
I don’t know the managers name but he’s tall, he’s been there for a long time. Maybe Josh.

Drove to Springfield from Columbus with an appointment in London on the way. There are no Frisch's in Columbus. Our meal was good as was the service. We will go again. Brought back memories.

A year ago I would have given Frisch's a five-star because we went a couple times a week. They had good specials and good service but without Bobby and Linda, the service isn't that great and they don't offer a lot of coupons. But the breakfast bar is always good.
