Haven't been to an Ihop in over 10 years. I wasn't let down. Took my Mother for breakfast and was seated quickly, our waitress was nice and quick. Couldn't have had a better experience. Although , we could have done without the yelling back and forth to the kitchen, but the did seem a bit short staffed. PS> make sure to ask about their M-F specials. 2 pancakes, 2 sausges and hasbrowns $6.
Came in for a later dinner (8:00-ish) on a week night and we were seated within a few minutes. First impressions were sights of tables & empty booths still loaded with dirty dishes. After getting our beverage from the hostess, it was about 10-minutes before our order was taken by the waitress. She apologized for the delay, crediting it to two different $200+ orders in their back dining area (and apparently understaffed to accommodate). Otherwise, only one or two other booths...

This is 100% better than the original opening. While there's room for improvement.
A hostess is your first impression, without any there cannot be a good first impression.
Second impression is the server ours was pleasant.
You should expect that from every server.
Third time and quality. I do get stuff happens. But when you plate eggs and they are burnt around outside...
