Ordered 4 subs at 730. Spent almost $70. Food gets delivered shortly before 8pm. Missing a sub. I call 15 times. Literally. No one picks up. Google says they’re open till 9. So I get in my car to drive there. Doors locked. Employee standing there looking at me. Doesn’t move. I’m like what the hell.So I didn’t get my dinner I paid for. Call in Sunday at 11. Ask for a manager. I begin to tell the manager what happened, he interrupts me and basically tells me he doesn’t have time to help me because he is working solo and has to do three catering orders, and he wasn’t there the night before andHow it’s someone else’s problem. He literally started to cry. Unloading HIS AND THE COMPANIES PROBLEMS ON ME! I then ask for his boss name and he tells me Ted and I ask him his name and he refuses to give it to me and hangs up on me. I’m still out of money and food and I’m pissed.

Only reason I order is because the food is pretty good. But my God. No matter how you order this place - whether directly on the app, call it in, or DoorDash - they can never seem to get it right. They either forget a drink or chips…take an hour to drive 5 min down the street…or deliver via DoorDash ( they use their own drivers) and won’t even knock or call to tell me they left the food outside. DoorDash doesn’t automatically update you when they deliver because they use their own system and drivers - so food just sits there on my porch. Every time I order, I have to call to see if they got my order because it takes forever. I’m owed probably $20 worth of missing ordered items. Sucks because the subs are decent but sadly…this is another Springfield establishment that just can’t get it together.

This place always has the best food. I did an experiment asking about who had the best Subway sandwich in Springfield and this was very clearly the winner. With a close second being Penn station but Jimmy John's pulled far ahead with quality of ingredients.

Do Not order for delivery from this location. We ordered and waited over an hour to find out they canceled our order and did not notify us. I would not post a negative review if they would, at the very least, COMMUNICATE!

Got there at 8:30pm on a Saturday night and sign on the door said open. A worker was visible inside and she says that she had to close early. Disappointed that this store was not open during posted hours. From the ratings this store gets, it appears they have some work to do to gain back trust.

Wow! Something must be very different - I can only think that this franchise sold to another owner in the last 2-3 days. I have been a loyal customer of JJ Springfield for the last few years (ordering as recently as this past Sunday). However, when I called to order today, the person answering the phone told me I was out-of-the-delivery area. As I had Google call them, I called back manually on my phone so that my number and history would display on their system. I was still told that I was out of their delivery area (I'm 1.1mi from their biz in our town's downtown) but that he'd do me a "favor" and deliver my order, though it would be much later than their usual time as they were very busy. I get it. We're ALL busy. And I'm certainly glad they are successful as the Manager (person who answered the phone) stressed how busy they were. But I really don't feel like arguing with any business to whom I give my money about facts - like my short distance from them. And I don't need to be made to feel like I'm a bother to them (please don't do me any "favors"), and I'm sure they will continue to be successful - but without this loyal customer. And I was even a great tipper.

I used to love Jimmy John's. The perfect amount of meat ant veggies. I got home with 2 Vito's and a Tom and there was a very thin slice of meat on all of the sandwiches. Where's the meat?? This was the one in Springfield, Ohio. Highly disappointed! Needless to say I will not be going back.

As many times as I've gone past this sub shop, it shouldn't have taken us this long to try it. It was a Saturday at lunchtime, you'd think there would be several people in ordering, eating, etc., but there were no customers in site. The shop had 3 workers there so they must get busy, I am guessing? I kind of think they probably do a lot of postmate, doordash orders. I don't know that, but hope they're making a profit. I think they're location is just a little bit of the issue. Yet, Wittenberg students can get subs easily, so maybe that's the positive for location. We ate in, service was reasonable although I do think the cost was a little high. Subs are cold. No different breads that were aware of. They will not heat or toast. My sub looked the same as my granddaughters but we ordered differently. It was delicious, no complaints of the food, we were just unaware. We'd try it again but I plan to check out the menu online just in case there's something else we can try.
