Noise level was good to have a discussion. The waffle biscuit in the sausage gravy I didn't like very much, it was tough and dense.

Got a ham and cheddar sandwich on focaccia and this sandwich has seriously been the highlight of my week.

It was our first time here since the reopening! It had the amazing pastries we enjoyed before and then some! Love that we can get cortado and healthy salads and wraps. I love all of this and we will be back! Thank you for a great experience!!

Was disappointed to learn that Salato closed but apparently it's just been folded into Torte & Iron. Sandwiches are as good as previously and the cashier was very patient and pleasant. Doesn't have quite as many customization options for sandwiches as Salato did but they still worked with me to get something vegetarian along with a more standard sandwich for the person I was there with. Still highly recommend for anyone who was a fan of Salato.

You confirmed the process for placing an advanced order for an important special occasion. You confirmed our modest order once it was received. You communicated via text again to say the order would be ready. When we arrived to pick up the order, you did not have it ready, nor did you have the items available to fill the order. You did not offer to rectify the situation, but instead simply shrugged and said sorry. You did not respond to text messages after the fact — you ghosted us.

This was not even close to our first order or visit to your shop, but it will definitely be the last. But, based on how you handled this situation, losing customers is clearly of no concern to you.

This was the second place in Springfield that needs an update on their pictures. Only way I knew I was in the right place was comparing the architectural aspects of the building to the picture. Found out later at a different donut shop that Le Torte Dolci jacobins with the existing shops here and opened under a new name. Torte & Iron. Ya look very appealing.

The food is pretty good I came Right as they opened. I worked at a bakery in front of house for a while in the past and I was surprised to see the person who Who was working still putting out the labels for every food and getting things ready after It had already opened. I will say if you were going to have one person as front of staff and not have anybody in the back I do not think you should be selling hot food because I ordered some avocado toast and it took 30+ minutes for them to make because there was nobody in the back

Always the best pastry and cakes at the holidays and service is always incredible and nice atmosphere 🙏

I’m mystified by the poor reviews. We try to stop here whenever we’re in Springfield. The variety is impressive when you come from a town where every bakery offers the same donuts and brownies. I can make brownies and cookies at home but wouldn’t think of attempting their European style pastries. Skillful and delicious!

The sandwich was sub par. Surprise me to see a bakery with bad bread .

Poor customer service. No refunds issued if you are unhappy with service. Buyer beware.

I picked this location to work out of today because I had a lot of things to get don’t and I don’t live in Springfield.
The person working behind the counter was not friendly.
The WiFi DID NOT WORK AT ALL.
The environment was dusty and generally unclean. Syrup running down garbage cans. Dust was even in the restrooms.
Crumbs on the floor and not one table was cleaned after guest left.
Final issue was having to wait over 15 min for half a salad that had burnt bacon on it.
The food was mid.

This place was one of my favorites for a few years, and it's unfortunate to see its recent decline. The freshness of the pastries became inconsistent, and the collection rotation has shifted from weekly to monthly, which makes it less appealing to visit frequently, as there's not enough incentive to return to try something different. Additionally, the variety of options available is less everytime I am there. Hours were reduced.

I also miss the personable and welcoming service that used to be a hallmark of this place; the interactions now are strictly transactional. I believe there is an opportunity for improvement in both the product offerings and customer experience, and I would love to see this establishment thrive again and change my review.

You can taste the skill and quality. I love the crueller’s and the cheese danish. The staff is alway so friendly. My son loves to ring there service bell. Keep up the good work.
