Awesome cheeseburger and fries. The waitress Valerie was so sweet and informative. People all seemed happy. Pancakes are the size of pizza pans!!! Good prices as well. Only complaint was canned sodas and the steak my fiance had needed seasoned

Was going here expecting the diner in the picture. Didn’t go here because we couldn’t find the diner in the picture. Found a windowless ex-auto repair building with no appeal. Maybe we missed out, we’ll never know.

Used to love this place. Mundy’s Diner was a go-to spot for us. We’d drive out from Dayton just for the food and coffee. It always felt like a little adventure.

For my father-in-law’s birthday, he wanted to hit a “classic diner” as he just moved to the area and hadn’t been to many, so we made the trip.

But as we got closer, something felt off. The directions weren’t taking us where I remembered. Eventually, we arrived at what looked like a small warehouse, and I was incredibly confused. We got to the parking lot and realized that Mundy’s Diner is no longer a diner, but a generic sports bar now, with a completely different menu and location.

I wasn’t sure if we should go elsewhere, so I called the phone number and asked if we had the right place and the woman on the phone confirmed the name and location change.

When I asked if they served breakfast food, and she said, “we have normal bar food.” That’s not what we came here for. I thanked her, and we left and found another diner out of town.

I find it incredibly poor taste to leave this business listing up with the original name, reviews, and photos of the place, and just change the location with no indication that you’re not a diner anymore. It really derailed our day. You even have a separate business listing for the new location.

We weren’t just going out to eat—we were going to a place with history for us. And instead, we got sports bar #79.

Look, I hope the new spot does well. Seriously. But don’t hijack the identity of something that’s gone. Close this listing. Let people remember the diner for what it was.

We went here for a late breakfast and met a friend for her lunch break (she gets 1 hour). We arrived at 11:35 and our friend got there 11:40-11:45. We were seated right away. Beverages were served to us, at the same time that our friend arrived. She went ahead and ordered, immediately, because she had to get back to work! All she ordered was a basket of fries and an iced tea. We flagged down the server, at 11:55, because she hadn’t received her iced tea and we hadn’t been asked what we wanted to order! At 11:58 the iced tea was brought and we placed our order, finally! I ordered an omelette “without” green (bell) peppers, fried potatoes and toast, my husband ordered pancakes, eggs, hash browns, bacon and toast. At 12:05 “NOTHING” had been served to any of us! We flagged down our server, again, and told her the fries needed to be in a “to go” box! Finally at 12:20 her basket of fries arrived. She paid and left. At 12:35 our food came. When my omelette was presented to me, the person said “without green peppers, right?”. Well, the omelette was “full” of green peppers and my toast was cold, but the fried potatoes were hot, crispy and delicious! My husbands pancakes, eggs and bacon were hot and tasted good. His toast and hash browns were cold! They remade the omelette, “correctly” and brought another order of toast but by then my husband was almost done with his meal…at least all he could eat that was served hot! The server apologized by saying “she marked the order slip that there should be no green peppers and that when we’re busy, sometimes things happen”. Now, there were 4-5 tables of customers (20 people, at the most) in there and there were 3 servers. I don’t see how that would qualify as “busy”, as there were like 6-8 tables empty! We were presented with our bill…no discount. We will not go back!!! We tried them at their former location and were not very satisfied, but we thought we’d give them another try. That was a TRUE FAIL on our part!!
