This place is such a vibe! The food was delicious and the drinks too. We had ramen and it was sooo flavorful best ramen I’ve ever had and the sake was good as well. The waitress/bartender was soo informative and helpful I didn’t catch her name but she was very sweet. 10/10 can’t wait to come back

I've been bringing my kids here for a number of years. The prices for most items have increased since the last time we made it to Springfield. The wait for food on a Monday night was nearly 45 minutes when the restaurant itself wasn't that busy. I'm guessing they may have been short-staffed in the kitchen.

I ordered a bowl of tonkotsu ramen, two kids bowls of ramen, 4 slices of pork belly (which is how it was listed in the menu) and a JFC (Japanese fried chicken) taco. The tonkotsu ramen was lukewarm at best. It was missing the nori, which I had to ask for. One of my biggest issues with this place in the past was not being told when they were out of ingredients and the ramen just being served without the missing ingredients at the same price. We were given three pieces of pork belly instead of 4 and were told we got larger pieces so we were only given 3. It honestly wasn't worth arguing with the waitress (Hannah per the receipt) over it. I have actually had this same issue with the same waitress ordering additional pork belly in the past and not getting the amount we were supposed to get. The highlight of the entire meal was the JFC taco. I had never ordered one before, but it was hands down better than the ramen I've had there lately. The price of the taco wasn't that great, but the taste was pretty awesome. We also had pretty decent service / interactions with the bartender who seated us and took our order. I'm guessing they were relatively new to the restaurant.

In conclusion, Speakeasy Ramen isn't as good as it used to be. The food is often inconsistent, service can be lackluster and the prices aren't that great. I won't be making this trip to Springfield again anytime soon.

Showed up at ~710pm, made a 2 hour commute to try this due to Tik tok and google reviews stating how outstanding it was. Pull up to find them closing early on a Saturday due to “staffing issues?”. I do understand all everything is circumstantial, but I am now going to add “unreliable” to the business description.

This place used to be good before they opened a new location opened in Troy. Ive been here about 10 times now and the last 2 times was the final straw. They are constantly out of items and this time completely out of tonkotsu broth. Got the curry ramen broth was alright but did overpower everything else. Shrimp was burnt and literally tasted bitter noodles were boiled until clumped together also found a fruit fly of some sort in our ramen. Portions also seem to have gotten a little smaller since a couple years ago. Takoyaki was good.

Food is soooo good! I’ve eaten at this location and also ordered pick-up through DoorDash, every time it’s been amazing. I usually get the ramen, and it’s always on point flavorful, fresh, and consistent. Highly recommend! 🍜

The staff was lovely but wow was the ramen weird. I can’t even identify what it was about the ramen that was so weird but my husband and I both were really put off… we got the cheese ramen which I was stoked for so it was pretty disappointing AND expensive. Hate to give a low review but it was not great

This is the third time I have been here. The first few times were very delicious, this time I brought my mom back with me. I got Tonkotsu Ramen my usual favorite, this time it did not come out very hot like it had been sitting under the warmer. Also, the pulled pork was a bit dry. They were out of egg and corn as well, which is one of the best parts of that Ramen dish.

I was sadly disappointed because I love this spot. I will try it again, but today was not the day. I’m hoping it was a fluke. Because the quality just wasn’t there.

Don’t be deceived by the location. This is a hidden gem! The best ramen around here. I have to warn you once you try their Tonkatsu ramen you will not have it again anywhere else. I love their vibe and atmosphere. It brings me back home to Austin, Tx.

This is the first and last time my family and I will eat here. We had to wait over an hour for our food. Our order kept getting messed up. The waitress brought an appetizer to our table, and left it, which wasn't ours. I told her and she took it, walked to the kitchen with it, then immediately came back out with it giving it to the correct table. She didn't even have it made fresh for the correct table. They were out of food items. When I ordered 2 eggs they had them, but when my noodles came out she forgot the eggs, then came back out with 1 egg and said they ran out. We paid for food that wasn't worth it. I could make better Ramen at home and make it correctly. Upon reading the reviews I was expecting great food and service, but was sadly extremely disappointed.
