Olive Garden Italian Restaurant

Server was great. The salad was hittin' good that day. But the entree I ordered is always good. Chicken Tortelloni Alfredo is always great. But I prefer it with grilled chicken rather than breaded chicken.

Be very careful ordering the chicken Alfredo there has been high reports people getting sick off this including me. I was deathly sick for 2 days.

Very nice, renovated restaurant. The night started great. Drinks, breadsticks, salad a little over saturated with dressing but my husband liked it. And then we waited. And waited. And waited. “Your food is coming. It’s the next thing on deck.” We addressed the issues and it turns out that it was faster to make “the meats” and other items that other people ordered after us than the shrimp we ordered 30-40 min prior. 1 dish. With 10 pieces of shrimp. “The kitchen got a little behind.” I guess the did. At the end of the night, they offered us 25% discount and free dessert which we refused because we had to leave. Bottom line: Don’t order shrimp here if you’re in a hurry. They need to catch it first.

We stopped into the Olive Garden in Springfield hoping for a classic, easy dinner. What we got was... confusing at best. They were out of so many menu items we each had to change our orders—twice. And then came the kicker: no broccoli. At Olive Garden. Really?

Our server was kind but clearly new and struggled to answer basic questions about ingredients and substitutions. We tried to pivot and order a bottle of prosecco (as listed on the menu), only to be told it’s only available in splits. Fine—we agreed to do four splits instead. But they brought all four to the table, opened every single one, and left us feeling like we’d been boxed into buying more than we wanted.

Between the lack of options and the awkward wine situation, the whole experience felt off. Not awful, just... meh.

The service was amazing , and our waitress was polite, She kept our drinks and breadsticks full. The food was ready fast and accurate to our order. The facility was clean, including the restrooms.

My mom and I went for dinner tonight. We picked Olive Garden because she enjoys the food, and we could sit down and catch up on our week. Our server Corey was fantastic. Very attentive, friendly, and made great suggestions when we weren’t sure what to get, but know we wanted something outside of our standard. Corey checked on us frequently enough to take care of our needs, but not enough to overwhelm. He’s a wonderful server, and a joy to have take care of us.

We had a rehearsal dinner catered by the Springfield location and the staff, the level of professionalism, the service, and the food quality were all above and beyond our expectations. The catering specialists that the order was placed with were extremely helpful. Tiffany, who performed setting up our buffet was the absolute best! She made our day so much less stressful and did an excellent job! Highly recommend.

Absolutely loved the service from Taylor P - she was so engaging and super fun and personable! We shared stories of chickens (RIP Theodore) and class trips to Italy (we’ll take you next time!) We will absolutely ask for her again when we visit - she’s the bestest. Food & drinks were great too!
