We were in town for the antique show and always look for a different place to eat and decided on Our Hero for an original Philly steak and cheese. What a mistake! When they came there was very little meat and not an onion, pepper or even a hint of cheese. It was all filled with lettuce, tomato and mayo and a few slivers of meat. I do not recommend this place and will never go back.

This is my favorite sub shop in the world! The Club Sub is my all-time favorite! It was such a pleasure to be able to stop in here and grab some lunch. Friendly and fast and delicious. Everything you'd want in a restaurant. I tell everyone I know, they need to eat here.

Cold burnt pickles, , cold Italian sub, cold cheese steak, all ordered at lunch expecting hot food, seriously disappointed!!! Second time food was under par! Won’t be ordering again! Sucks, used to like!

We were on our way to meet friends to watch an early football game and stopped in to get subs for lunch. I had high hopes this place would be good, but things went downhill fast. First off, the staff informed us there was a 15-minute delay before they could cook anything to allow the ovens to come up to temperature. The staff was kind of short with us. Really! No one started the ovens before they opened. We decided to wait. We put in order and waited. We got the subscription and got about 3 blocks away and discovered the subs were barely toasted at all. We went back to have them put back in for some additional time. We received no apologies or response. So again, we left. When we arrived at the house, the subs were terrible. The meat was cold and tasteless. It was a huge disappointment. The restaurant was nice and clean inside and out, but I won't be back to try the food again. I can't recommend this restaurant.

1 star for food and service because I went to the wrong store after ordering at the one on Plum St., and the person there said I can't get my sandwich there because, "the owner doesn't want one sandwich getting thrown out. I was about to ask her why I couldn't just double my order, but she seemed intent on not making my sandwich, regardless. I would suggest this company adopt a policy of selling unbought sandwiches on a walk-in, POS, discount type deal. It will cut down on all that wasted food she was worried about having. I won't be back to that wrong store again.
They get a 3 star overall because the "nice old lady" was pleasant, funny and appreciated my sense of humor... give her a raise!
