My hubby and I moved from Columbus 4 yrs ago. To London first. Then Springfield. We used to stop at the Marathon off 56 in London and would purchase a box of assorted donuts for pennies on the dollar after dinner. When we moved to Springfield I found out that two streets over on E Main St was the first Bakery within the franchise. It opened when FDR was POTUS!!! And oh my!! The smells of cakes and doughnuts just makes you melt! Specialty cakes for events will be the highlight of any occasion. It's so delicious that you have to remind yourself that moderation is key!! I no longer buy bakery items from grocery stores. It's that good. The people there are so accommodating too. Enjoy.

Bro I was walking down the street and I was depressed, I was about to jump off of a bridge, but then out of the corner of my eye I saw shulers bakery, I thought that I should eat a donut before I die. But then I ate the donut and my shlong grew by 6 inches and I loved my life. Shulers bakery changed my life

Great donuts! A wide selection to choose from. Staff is friendly and courteous. A great way to start your day!

They were out of chocolate and couldn't accept order for a chocolate cake or cupcakes? Really? How does a bakery run out of chocolate?! Also, who knows what icky oils are used in their frostings and the taste and texture is grossly obvious. I prefer butter in my frosting, like real bakeries should. The reason is cost and opting for cheaper ingredients. Whatever suits your fancy. This place is not what you want if you demand better ingredients. There is little difference between their product and that of the local grocery store bakery. No thank you!

The donuts and cookies were great! Especially the tea cookies. I traveled all the way from New Jersey just to try out this place. Number one spot in Springfield for sure!

great donuts, always get the cream filled, whole wheat and bismarks! thumbprint cookies and tea cookies are always good, sugar cookies don't taste the same.

You need to open back on Sundays like before. This being closed on Sundays is not convenient for many of us.

If I could give 0 stars I would, the main st. Location is going downhill fast. I looked forward to seeing your employee Jaymee couch daily because she was the only one who’d even acknowledge me or ask me how I’m doing when I came in. The store was only ever clean when Jaymee was there, her customer service was excellent and she was always very kind! She was there every day and she even had my order memorized! The store has ants because nobody else cleans up after themselves, the carpets are filthy, the other workers are RUDE, and im HIGHLY unsatisfied with any service but Jaymee’s. Sad to hear from another employee that she was fired, guess we’ll be changing locations until the store decides to get rid of the bugs, get some nicer workers and clean up a little.

Best donuts in the entire world. I'd rather have a Schuler's chocolate Bismarck than an entire chocolate cake for my birthday

The icing is good but they use way too much of it to cover up overcooked dough. When the owner became political, I quit going.
