Customer service was good but the off-the-shelf cake I purchased was very dry and did not reflect well on Schuler's Bakery or on me as the person who purchased it and brought it to a Birthday Party.

Doughnuts definitely fell off! Or maybe it’s because I moved away and have experienced better quality (and less nostalgia?) since the 2010s 🤷♂️
Chocolate frosting doesn’t taste like it used to: they also never seem as fresh as they were when they had the E Main and Mitchell locations. Also: closing on Memorial Day and a few other busy holidays seems like a dumb move- you used to see hundreds of boxes along the parade route, but not anymore :/

Schuler’s was a hometown favorite growing up in Springfield. I came home for the holidays and was excited to bite into one of those delicious glazed donuts. Unfortunately, it was a huge disappointment. Not only have the prices increased, the donuts and cupcakes were nasty. The donuts were hard and lacked flavor. I will have to just remember the good times because I won’t be able to experience them again at Schuler’s.

Best donuts I've had in the Midwest hands down. I don't live close by but I go out of my way to get Schuler's. Huge donuts too. I really have to thank them for using actual cream filling in some of their donuts and not custard like other places. 10/10 and I couldn't recommend them more. I will try their cakes and update once I do.

We bought 2 dozen of cookies they was delicious!!! Been a fan of Schuler's since I was a child. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful!! Service was fast kind and accurate I highly recommend it. We call the cookies thumbprint they have the perfect bite not too hard and not too soft They taste fresh and even look delicious, put it in your mouth so delicious

I am originally from Springfield. I now live in Cincinnati. I come to Springfield frequently. My husband brought home some date bars and oatmeal cookies two days ago. The date bars and oatmeal cookies were probably a third, if that, the thickness they use to be. I realize costs are rising, but I would prefer to pay extra for you to make the cookies the way that you use to, than to get cookies, that are basically tasteless and simply sugar. Please go back to your old recipes. Your product was awesome, was being the key word.

We've been going here since childhood. Even last year seemed really great products but these last couple months we got several cakes from here and the cakes have been super dry. The icing just falls off even with being in a cold controlled house with little heat exposure. I don't know if they changed recipes or if its who is now incharge of doing cakes but we will most likely go elsewhere. We got a birthday cake which we ordered early and it seemed like the decorate went as simple as possible and called it a day. I hope this changes soon for others sake!

Very kind & helpful employees. I can be very indecisive but the employee that helped me was very nice. Absolutely delicious soft fluffly donuts! If I'm ever in the area again I'll definitely return. The coffee also had a great flavor as well. Also, love the sign on the front door when you walk in 👍👍👍
I love the bakery and I love that they support first responders and are good to their community. I have seen some crime in the parking lot which sometimes makes me nervous to stop at this one.

Got in and out . Good selection of donuts. Got a chocolate cream filled with barely any cream inside it and the whole wheat donuts fell apart in the box.

The wonderful ladies at this bakery made personalized cookies for my son's percussion ensemble when we were in town for the WGI competition. The kids and the ensemble have them as a treat after they competed and preliminary round of competition. They were so excited to see their names written on a cookie. All six dozen cookies were gone in a flash because they were so delicious! The sugar cookies we're thick and delicious. The icing was amazing. Not too super sweet, but complimented The buttery cookie. Thank you ladies for your hard work and making our kids smile!
