I really wanted to like Taqueras Los Amigos, but the food just didn’t deliver. We ordered a chicken quesadilla and a marinated pork burrito. The quesadilla was okay, not terrible, but definitely not the best.
The burrito was the biggest disappointment. It was packed mostly with rice, with barely any other ingredients, and all you could really taste was the rice. It also fell apart immediately, and I ended up having to eat it like a bowl. The pork turned out to be ground pork, which they never mentioned, and it wasn’t what I expected at all. I could have looked at the menu better so partly my fault.
Overall, the food just wasn’t very good, and I was hoping for a much better experience.

Is a taco truck, so no dings for atmosphere. They have a table and shade.
Impeccable service. The girl taking orders is super kind and all smiles. You can get a free sample of bourbon chicken as well and I recommend you do.
I chose the Quesadilla Los Amigos ($12) with chorizo and it was cooked fresh to order. It was a little floppy but this is forgivable due to the amount of filling. The taste and quality was top-notch.
I will be back to get a full serving of the bourbon on chicken. May update the food rating after.
Update: bourbon chicken is best in town. Have had 3x since first review.
