It's a nice place to eat, a pretty good variety of items on the menu. The food is either hot or it's not, I guess it depends on how many people you're with. Some items sit longer, so everything comes out at once. The staff are the highlight, very nice and talkative waitresses. They remember you and what you normally get if you come in on a regular basis. Nice closed in patio, If you need some vitamin-D☀️, or you just enjoy the scenery. I believe the owner also owned the Buckeye Club in downtown Springfield when it was open. So if you liked that place, you'll like this one. It's just a little smaller

****Updating on oct 12 2024,for HORRIBLE PREFERENTIAL TREATMENT. Went at 3:15, lunch, noticed someone else was being served walleye,(dinner), asked my waitress and she said NO, so we left.****
***I had walleye. It was huge, tasty, and done to perfection. Their fries and coleslaw put all others to shame.
Prices are reasonable and you get good sized portions.
First time there. I love that the menu is so different from anyone else.

Stopped in while visiting town this weekend. Had the best burger I’ve had in quite some time. The spinach and artichoke dip was really good and creamy as well. Service was really quick and even had a drink I haven’t been able to find in years. Definitely a good spot to have some great food and good service. 10/10.

Had dinner here tonight. We had to wait a little bit for a table to be cleaned as they were quite busy. But the food was fantastic and the service was great as per the norm. Absolutely love this little hidden gem. Our waitress Kristin was able to keep up with us as far as taking our food order quickly and making sure our drinks never went empty. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a warm experience.

I had the pleasure of dining at The Ridgewood Cafe in Springfield, Ohio, and I must say, it was an incredible experience! I ordered the Corned Beef Reuben with fries, and it did not disappoint. The food came out quickly, and the fries were absolutely amazing—crispy, hot, and full of flavor. The Reuben sandwich easily ranks in my top 5 of all time. But what really sets this place apart is the exceptional customer service. Everyone was so friendly, especially Sandra, who made sure everything was perfect. Highly recommend this spot if you’re in the area!
