My dad and I played the back 9 at 3pm Sunday, November 17. Course was outstanding. Not crowded so no wait, fairways still green as hell, and best kept greens in Springfield.

No yardage markers on the course. Never played a course where there were no yardage markers anywhere or ball washers. Course was in ok condition. Sand traps need some serious attention. Could have saved at least 5 shots had I knew my yardage. Course shouldn’t assume everyone has a range finder. This is basic golf course necessity. Very low cost improvement that should have been done when the course was built.

Overall, this is a decent course. My favorite thing was the restaurant and bar that’s located on the premises. The bartender Sue was fantastic super super friendly very accommodating gave great recommendations. Unfortunately I thought the rough was some of the worst I’ve ever seen on any course.

The course was in great shape for this time of year. As the name suggests, it was windy!
Often stop at the restaurant at the gold club (closed during winter). Great food, excellent service, and great outside seating (seasonal) overlooking a beautiful pond. LOVE this place!!!
