I loved local long before local was cool and this bakery has a lot to love. So excited to find it. Since 1958. Friendly service. Great selection. Very reasonably priced. I wish you many years of profitable business.
I have been going to the Downtown Bakery since I was a little girl. There is not a bakery around that will ever come close to the Downtown Bakery. Especially the glazed donuts, smiley face cookies and their birthday cakes ?
Kid-friendliness: Everyone is so friendly no matter what time I go in, It can be 5am or 1pm. You will never go wrong when you stop past the Downtown Bakery!! We get donuts every Saturday morning between 5am and 8am and I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Iconic. Get the baklava! One of the only thriving business in the area it seems like. Their price point is on par with the rising cost of food. &! They are sooo consistent, I can say this because I’ve been a patron for over 30 years. Baking is a science.. and you know exactly what to expect when you order something from the Downtown Bakery. Quality and consistency have been the same for decades. Truly appreciative.Thank You!
