They are now under new ownership and the bread is better than ever !!! Insanely good. Do not sleep on this place. It's better than any of the well known Pittsburgh bread. 5 stars is not enough !!!

Food is great. But it’s overpriced, the bakery itself smells absolutely disgusting to the point it’s nauseating. The woman behind the counter was very short and curt. Rude. And not friendly whatsoever.

I plan on going as soon as possible. I've heard they make good bread and rolls.
Don't let the outside steer you away...It DOES looked closed, lol, but it's NOT! Don't use the "main" door, go to the right of the building, and you'll see a hallway - take that to an order window and tell them what you'd like! The bread is EXCELLENT!!
