Everyone in this place is respectful and was greeted upon walking through the second set of double doors. It was very busy at the moment. Had the family seated and the young lady asked what we wanted to drink mind you there was 8 of us got are drinks. We weren’t ready to order yet so she said I’ll come back in 5 mins. We were ready in 5 mins considering we all mostly got the same thing the order was a $90 order they had are food out to us within 15-20 mins which is understanding cause it was busy was still impressed how quick they made are order happen. Food was very good and taste good. Thank you John for bring the best restaurant around.

Really enjoyed this place until recently. The owner of the business keeps any tips that the servers get if you pay with card. So if you tip with a card the waiter or waitress will not get it. This puts a horrible taste in my mouth.

Sushi was excellent. Employees were some of the sweetest servers I’ve ever met. I’ll have a great attitude and we’re welcoming and warm. This was my first time here and they were 100% great servers and that they actually talk to their customers and spend time with them. Felt like I was in throwback to the pre-Covid times where people actually gave a crap about service

First time here. Was not impressed. My chicken was wayyyy over done that it was too hard/dry to even eat. The sauce was almost like slime. My boyfriend got the steak and it was over done as well. I mentioned this to our waitress and she said oh its just cuz the chef was on vacation and has to basically get back into the swing of things. Like what!? I mentioned and showed her how its not even edible. She did not offer to give me a discount or anything or even to show the chef. She was justifying his bad cooking. Will not return here. The restaurant is old and sad looking. Our booth seats were all ripped up and old with the cushion showing. Just not a good experience at all.

Wife, Baby Cody, and I had an amazing time!! Kirsti(sorry if we're misspelling!) Was an fantastic host, and the rest of the staff also made us feel very special! Everyone was so kind to our baby boy he had an amazing time and tried so much tasty new things! Thank you so much we will definitely be back!

Order lo mein chicken hibachi to go and it was terrible! Each tray had about two pounds of cold bland overcooked noodles boiled chicken and sautéed garden salad as a vegetable side…. Yes sautéed lettuce, cucumbers and shredded carrots and radishes! I refused the meal and got our money back. Only good outcome was the acknowledgment and apology.

Sumo is always one of my top Go To places for a good takeout meal! Portions are huge. Usually get two meals out of it. Staff is always polite. The owner is a super nice guy who donates a lot to the community! Great local place!
