We've been looking for an old diner like this since we moved down here. Still making food from scratch. If you haven't tried C J's, I would highly recommend you do. You won't be disappointed!! We will definitely be back again.

REstaurant has seen its better days. Needs a major face lift. The food was good but limited in choices. I haave been there for breakfast and that they do well.

Great little restaurant tucked away in a cute nostalgic Ohio River town. Good food and friendly conversation with the locals!

Food was blaa very plain no flavor. Had breakfast there. Service was pretty good but the restaurant is very dated . I wanted to give them a try since I am new to the area. Prices were very good for what you get . But I would have to recommend the riveria which is 2 doors down on the same street. Prices are in the same range and the food is a lot better. From what I understand CJ's was the only restaurant in the area that served breakfast for a long time and maybe they just got complacent. I don't know.

My husband and I love CJs. Food is good and reasonably priced. Pie is delicious of course with ice cream. Friendly atmosphere makes it special!

Stopped in for lunch April 23rd , was a nice little diner style restaurant. Had a great selection and the cook was great , had liver and onions which was very good , which is hard to find ! The waitress was also very good at her job and kept checking in on us. Everyone there staff and patrons were very pleasant. Will stop by again if in the area.

I have visited CJ's before and honestly, it's a hit and miss. I prefer fresh cut fries but they serve only shoe strings and are usually a little under cooked. They are slow on drink refills too. Once, I ordered a fish tail sandwich with extra tartar. There was so much sauce, It ran off of the bun and onto my blouse. LolThe bun was too soggy so I had to leave it on my plate. My biggest negative is:They serve sausage gravy and biscuits only one day a week. The staff are usually friendly and the dining area is clean and the their prices are fair. Yet, I never feel as if I had a good dining experience when I leave.
