I came here for quick lunch as I love Mediterranean food. I ordered shishtawook sandwich with fries. Sandwich was served 1st and fries later. I was in the rush so couldn't eat fries but I was shocked when I saw my bill, potatoes at the price of chicken sandwich. I wish server would have told me the price. I didn't even think twice as usually a side of it is like $3.00. So my $9.00 went to waste.

Very nice waitress. Baba ganoush was a good appetizer. The lamb shawarma platter was delivered quickly to my companion, but my meal of a tuna sandwich wasn’t brought out for 10-15 minutes later with no explanation. The lamb was chewy, the tahini dressing was blah. The tuna sandwich was very dry and could have used a yogurt dressing or something to flavor it up. I did ask for rare and I would say it was cooked medium.

This place is a hidden gem with amazing staples of Mediterranean foods. We got the Feta salad, this Yemini dish with lamb and half Mandi chicken. Highly recommend their hummus and dessert options if you love trying different foods, want to go somewhere amazing/ delicious!

The Tamr is nothing fancy with boring decor.
There was really nothing worth noting about the food except for their garlic sauce, which was pretty good. The pita bread was small and somewhat dry. It was cut in quarters and served in plastic sleeves, as like with takeout. The accompanying garlic sauce and humus were in small takeout containers as well...and an insufficient amount for 3 people. Everything else seemed to be bland and underwhelming. I had the lamb shawarma sandwich, and it was dry and unappealing. Others had the falafel sandwich, and they said it was not that great The sandwiches seemed small for the price point.
Our waiter could not have been nicer though.
I would not return to the Tamr and could not recommend it at this time.
Always a 10/10 experience here. The food is some of the best in the area across all cuisines. It’s always fresh, hot and delicious. Price for the serving size are reasonable. I can’t say enough good things about this restaurant. You won’t be disappointed.

We were actually planning on eating somewhere else but they were closed, thankfully so or else we wouldn't have found this amazing restaurant.
The staff was super friendly and accommodating and the food deliciously seasoned. A bonus was the beautiful Arabic music playing in the background!
