First time trying this pizza. Ordered a small (basically a medium) with extra cheese and pepperoni. It was the saltiest pizza I’ve ever eaten. Way too salty. Not sure if it was the pepperoni or what, but wow. 2 slices and I couldn’t take it anymore.

No one wants to eat pizza at a place that doesn’t feel welcoming and where the staff look at you weird and make jokes and make you feel uncomfortable while you’re eating. It felt like I was bothering them by asking them for things. Staff was rude. Do better. The pizza was good tho I would be back only for that reason but I would definitely get it to go

This may be one of the closest New York/Jersey style pizza joins. Food was excellent and wish I would have found it sooner. My family and I will be visiting again soon. Great little secret.

I have been getting NY style pizza from the place that moved into Luca’s old location and it’s great. However, Luca’s is on my way home from work and I finally decided to get a pie on the way home. Let’s just say I’ll definitely continue to order it from the other business. I got a medium with pepperoni and mushrooms for about $20 because toppings are $3.25 each. They were very unevenly applied with some pieces having barely any toppings at all, there was hardly any sauce and the crust seemed too “bare” with way too much not covered. Middle of the pie had most toppings and cheese and rest seemed too dry. Cost way too much, especially compared to what I can get at Luca’s old location. Well, now I know at least.

Not cheap and absolutely not worth it. I’ve seen and heard great reviews and I’m a fan of NY style pizza. This was like chewing on rubber. Hardly any sauce and poor flavor. The half hour drive was not worth it at all.

As someone who grew up on the East Coast (NJ/NY), I’ve spent years searching for that unmistakable, foldable, soul-satisfying slice of real New York pizza. Most places miss the mark. Luca’s nails it.
From the very first bite, it was like being transported back to the corner pizza shops of my childhood, crispy-yet-chewy crust, sauce with the perfect tang, and cheese that stretches like a warm memory. This is the pizza I grew up on. This is the pizza I’ve been craving for years.
And don’t even get me started on the garlic knots. They’re pillowy, golden, and drenched in garlicky goodness, basically little edible miracles! If they opened a shop that only sold these, I’d still show up with bells on.
What makes Luca’s even more meaningful to me is being able to share it with my family. My wife has celiac disease and can’t eat it herself, but she insists we go because she knows the joy it brings me and our kids. Watching them light up with every bite, just like I used to, is something I never thought I’d get to experience. Luca’s isn’t just a meal, it’s a connection to where I’m from and who I’ve become.
The atmosphere? Clean, welcoming, and exactly what it should be, a place where the food does the talking. From the moment you walk in, you get the sense that this place cares. About quality. About tradition. About getting it right.
