Amazingly tasty Chinese/Japanese food. Service easily does not have English as their first language. I doordashed Hibachi Beef (exlude the veggie) and Gyosa. They interpreted the word 'exclude' and interpreted it as 'extra'. Kinda ticked me off, but I went to the store, and they made it right. Love this place. My only suggestion is be as direct as possible when ordering online.

Absofuckinlutely delicious. Every single time. Uni Don for the win.
We have always enjoyed the food here but the last time we went, they charged an automatic gratuity or something on our order with no notice! Didn't see any signs saying they do this, their payment thing isn't even a screen to choose a tip amount, just a card reader. They added a 20% tip on their side of the screen without my approval.

Watched one of the workers sit behind some boxes up front and pick his nose and ontop of that food was not great now as for the vibe of the place it was dead and idk just felt weird being their especially with on of the workers eying me and my son.

My first time trying this restaurant and I got chicken/shrimp hibachi absolutely amazing the best in Stow/Kent area don’t go no where else.
Easily the best sushi I’ve had in Ohio. I’ve only ever gotten takeout, and I appreciate the nice packaging and presentation. High quality ingredients and fantastic flavor combos.

Phoenix Express has the best sushi in the area, hands down. It may primarily be a takeout place, but the prep and flavor are a step above. The guy who runs the place worked in a high-end sushi restaurant in NYC, and the quality shows. They even started giving you your order in a bento box, which is a really nice touch and is the only place I’ve seen do that around here. It’s a tad expensive, but the lunch special (3 rolls for $16) is worth it for the quality of food you get.
If you’re here just for the sushi, it’s 5 stars, no question. The only reason I give it 4 stars is that a few months ago they installed a huge TV behind the counter that started running 24-hour news any time I’ve picked up my order. So now if you’re in line waiting to pick up your food you have to deal with the horrors of the world while you wait. The TV is faced towards the restaurant and away from the workers, so this ostensibly is for the customers’ benefit. In a world where the news is shoved down your throat on every device and screen you come in contact with to drive engagement, this feels like a bizarre choice and an ambiance killer. Everyone has a smartphone these days, and if you want to catch up on current events while waiting for your food you can easily do that. I doubt I’m the only person who finds this to be a major irritation, which is a shame because the food is incredible. When I see a TV at a sushi restaurant, they usually show something like a fishtank, or foreign music videos, or a street cam, something passive and relaxing. If they switch the TV over to something like that, it would be a huge improvement.

I expected something completely different after the website and the price of our order. Sushi was good. The hibachi was not normal to other hibachi meals I have ever had. Not bad just not right. I would skip the egg rolls and other appetizers if Ibordered again. Service…great!!

I love their scallion pancakes!!!! I am so happy to find a place that actually has these on their menu!I used to eat these a lot as a child. They are one of my go-to comfort foods! Yum!I have tried other things off their menu, and everything has been excellent so far!!!!
Vegetarian options: They have vegetarian food on the menu you just need to read the descriptions. Very fresh! ?
Parking: Plaza parking lot so plenty of parking available.

I’ve lived in the area for 6yrs and only now discovered this place. The sushi is every bit as good as I expected but I have to say the to-go box presentation is truly elevated. 100% recommend.
