We tried this place after living in the area for almost 2 years. We drive by everyday and have been told by many locals how great it is. We will not be returning. I realize ordering takeout does not give you the full experience, so I'm really only judging the food. I had the corned beef hash with scrambled eggs. They gave me oil soaked scrambled egg whites, stale toast and a small portion of their corned beef hash. The hash had pretty good flavor but the meat was over cooked and crunchy. My husband had the western omelet with an English muffin. Muffin was not toasted. Omelet had a tiny bit of cheese inside. Overall we do not recommend and will not be back. There are much better breakfast places in the area.

We love Stow Nut donut! We go there for terrific pancakes and omelets !
My wife and I are frequent fliers. The wait staff is always amazing. The atmosphere is very retro. It is a museum of memorabilia of memories of an era long gone by. The food is great. I've seen a couple of complaints about the food, but this is the best diner around AND it is always busy. They can't bat 1000 everytime. However, they are pretty consistently awesome. If you want a donut that blows all other donuts out of the water. Come to Stow Nut. You will not be disappointed. For those that ranked this place low on one visit, I would implore you to give them another chance. If we did have to complain about anything, the one minor thing that could be improved is the toast. It is not usually very toasty. But that isn't a big issue for me. Let me tell you, if this place wasn't that good then why is it always so busy, especially on the weekends. Go early! I believe they could be in a bigger location and thrive. Great job Stow Nut.
Ps. If you like corned beef hash, there isn't any better that Stow Nut within a 50 mile radius, probably further. Enjoy your breakfast.
