This restaurant is under new ownership for about a year now and, while it is clear that they are trying to mimic the food quality and taste of the previous owner’s, it is not even close! I’ve been a long-time customer of this place (over 25 years), and I’m seriously disappointed. The food “looks” the same but it does not taste the same. Furthermore, the servers are sloppy in appearance and there is no order to the way that they work. Finally, the seating and the food preparation are consistently slower than what was evident with the previous ownership. This was a very busy restaurant with many loyal customers but now I believe I’m not the only customer who’s disappointed.

My family had tried for a total of 45 minutes to call for take out…. No one answered the phone. Extremely poor service and false advertising. If there is a new number make it public in your

They weren't overly busy for a Sunday afternoon, but it took a long time to be seated. Our waitress apologized twice for how long the food was taking. When it arrived, it was VERY GOOD! They call the place chicken manor for a reason. You'll see in the picture, I ate the skin separately. It was an entirely other thing to eat. Oh it's so good. And they're the only place I know of that serves vinegar cole slaw. Mmmmmm. And their 'Hot Sauce' is tasty as can be. Tomatoes, rice, chili powder, what's not to like? My wife said the fish was good too. And she let me share her hand cut fries so she could enjoy some sweet lemon pie. My dessert was malt vinegar and hand cut fries. And their prices were good.We were enjoying our conversation and kind of forgot the slowness. That was our only complaint.
Kid-friendliness: Definitely a kid friendly environment.
Parking: Plenty of parking and handicap accessible.
Wheelchair accessibility: Nice short ramp at door.

Chicken breast were smaller than expected. The coating was good, but not the juiciest chicken. The mashed potatoes were good. The Cole slaw was not my favorite.

I took my wife out for a nice Easter lunch. What a disappointment. After finally being seated, service was Slow. Our meals were finally delivered on large oval plates with tiny portions of meals, dried out chicken breast, over done fish, and warm canned green beans.(vegetable of the day) hers,2 legs, 1/2 thigh,& 5 Well-done onion rings. They didn't even offer any bread. This won't happen again.
Terrible food! Don't waste your money or time at this establishment! Service was lacking and food was terrible! Need a cook! If you want chicken KFC is better!!
Quaint little restaurant. Wonderful friendly staff. Food was ok but not impressive. Grilled chicken was dry and my baked potato was served with artificial bacon bits and a tiny bit of cheese for 'loaded'. Their fish and fried chicken looked much better and are the specialities of the restaurant so perhaps those would be a better choice for someone.

Not enough staff. New waitress seemed overwhelmed. Food all fried. Overfried! Shrimp, clams, chewed like leather. Fries completely dried and shriveled. Our food cooled while we waited for silverware. Ate everything else until nothing left except the large piece of fish when we both stopped our server again to ask for tarter sauce. I could see the server was flustered so I did leave a tip, but I feel the restaurant was at fault for not staffing adequately. Not on my recommend list.

Been going for years, things went down hill with new owner. Supposed to open at 11:00, last three times it’s been closer to 11:30. Today was the last straw, guests left standing out in cold, were told would be just a minute, 20 minutes later we finally got inside. Customer was explaining his frustration and the owner told he and his elderly mother to leave! Our party also walked out and the owner literally came out to our vehicle as we were driving away and was very rude!! Won’t go back under this management! If you open at 11, then unlock doors at 11 AND change your hours on the door!! Worst experience ever!
I have found the perfect chicken. I've gone to many, many places in my area trying to find good chicken tenders, and none of them really stand out. I've tried Chick fil A, Cane's, and all the pizza places in my area, and all of them are "decent" at best. But this place was different.I ordered the chicken tenders, thinking I'd get some dry, greasy, heart-attack basket like all the other places. However, when I bit into my tender, I had a REVELATION!This was it.It was hot, not too greasy, and I bit through it wih ease. So smooth, yet crispy. So passionate, yet so calm, like a lion eating its prey. This was a divine experience that everyone MUST have at least once in their lifetime.

The Manor is a great place to take your family. Accommodates large parties and banquets. Great food, great prices and great selection on the menu. It also looks great now, fresh paint everything is clean .
The atmosphere is pure nostalgia. The cusine is comfort food at it's finest, and you won't find a friendlier waitstaff than at "The Manor".
The food had no flavor, served lukewarm at best; some was cold. The new owner has definitely changed the recipes or the kitchen staff doesn't know what they're doing. The hotsauce (one dish they're known for) was tasteless and looked like it was days old
