El Palenque Mexican Restaurant - Strongsville

First and last time in this place. They sneakily overcharged for beers and margarita. The second margarita literally had multiple fruit flies floating in it so I sent it back. I wish I would have checked the first one. They sent a steak fajita when chicken was ordered. Veggie fajita was loaded with grease. One measly spoon of guac and two tiny spoons of beans. Overpriced for the quality and quantity. Service was mediocre.

We had the best time! Daniel was the best bartender, server and host with the most!!! Our food was great, the drinks were delicious and the tamales were the best we’ve had and we live in Southern California!!! Go see these guys and have a great time. Queso Fundido was yummy, the Mariscos (seafood) soup and the fajita taco salad was great too. Definitely will be back!! Daniel is super kind and knows his tequila!!!

Great place! Food is delicious. Melting Chimichanga is our favorite. Service was friendly and efficient. Would recommend.

This was amazing food. The service was top of the line and the margarita selection is next level. I highly recommend that everyone come here because the depth of flavor in their dishes is next level. Also not to mention the salsa is spicy and perfectly flavored. Come check out one of the signature dishes or one of the other classics.

At first because I had a bad Experience with racism at blue habanero on the trait, I was hesitant to come to the one in Strongsville. Went to Strongsville blue habanero and it was amazing and I loved it. Went there for a couple years spend tons of money and ever since they have changed to El Palenque it the is not as good as it was and service is not welcoming. They rushed me lie and told me they were closing cause it’s slow and then when another family came in that was an Ethnicity they welcome them in and didn’t rush them even though I was told I had 10mins. Not to mention the waiter and bartender felt to comfortable to cheers and drink in front of me. I will be going to the many other Mexican restaurants here now.

First time here…Food was amazing…Service great! Cool place inside…Totally recommend!
