I debated whether or not to write this review because it’s not something we normally do and we don’t like doing it. But I think it’s important to share our experience if it helps people make a decision on where to eat. I wouldn’t recommend O’Charley’s Strongsville. My family had dinner here on Sept. 9th at around 4pm and chose this place because the menu had a lot of options- something for everyone. Once seated, it took at least 10-15 minutes for someone to first come and take a drink order, which seemed a bit long since the place was pretty empty, but maybe they were short-staffed. Who knows what’s going on behind the scenes? Once someone showed up we got our drinks quickly and placed our orders. All seemed fine. When the server brought out our meals, she explained that there was a “miscommunication” with my meal (seafood combo) and unfortunately it was going to take a little longer. She said she “wasn’t sure what happened” but they were fixing it now. She asked if I was okay with the rest of my family getting their meals now. I was. We were very polite about it- “No worries. It happens”. My family got their meals and a few minutes into eating, the server brought out my order. A couple of bites in I realized that my food was frozen in the middle. My husband found a worker and let them know. They were very apologetic and removed my plate and said that they would remake my meal. Again, we were pretty cool about it- “That’s fine. We appreciate you fixing that”. A few more minutes later, my original server was back with my plate— some of the food removed. She told me that they removed only the frozen parts (not sure how they determined which were frozen and which weren’t— I’m afraid to know) and were heating those up but the rest of the meal should still be good. We all sat there a little shocked. We didn’t know what to say so we didn’t say anything. It was obvious that this was a bigger problem than being short-staffed. My family was pretty much finished with their meals when someone came out and without saying a word, set down a plate with the rest of my food and walked away. The worst part is that it simply didn’t taste good. I finally came out and mentioned it to my family and they reluctantly admitted theirs was the same but didn’t want us to feel bad since my husband and I were paying. Sure enough, I looked around and saw that none of them finished their meals. I felt terrible that we chose this place to treat our family to dinner. I want to point out that while we were very disappointed, we never once took it out on our server or any of the staff. The server eventually brought out the check and as you could guess, charged us full price for everything. We didn’t know what to say or do. I don’t think we’ve ever been in that position. Do we demand a refund? A discount? We aren’t the type to make a scene so we didn’t want to do that. In the end we decided to simply pay our bill (and left a decent tip) and leave an honest review detailing our experience. I hope people read this and it makes a difference when they’re figuring out where they want to spend their time and money. Don’t waste it here! Lesson learned.

Great food, service, and atmosphere. However, it was like a refrigerator in the restaurant. I was there twice with a group of 12 and we all felt frozen. Because we were all so cold, we are hesitant about returning. It was too humid to eat outside and freezing inside. Maybe we can get take out instead. Sasha was a fabulous server!

So...one of my potato skins tasted like chemicals...the food isn't great...the waitress was clumsy but nice. The mango margarita tasted really fake and not a lot of alcohol...I used to like it there but the place has gone downhill. The place smells funny too and it was freezing in there.

We went there on 7/16/23 the food was awesome, the service was great the bad part was the restaurant was absolutely freezing! I asked for them to make it a little warmer but was told it had to be that cold to prevent condensation on the floors preventing falls. It was absolutely miserable to eat your food before it got cold. We left as soon as we were done eating, would have stayed longer and spent more money but we were numb for shivering Great place to eat but wear winter attire!

Great fresh made potato chips, chicken strips were just ok in my opinion, I was expecting much better especially since they are advertised as "famous", very disappointing, (the busy chain I shall not name with the golden retriever mascot is much better). Short wait, clean place, fun atmosphere, I had a Bahama Mama and it was the best part, Lol!

Food was very good. Restaurant was freezing. I was wearing short skirt and my legs got very cold. They could lower their prices by turning the thermostat up.

We had dinner tonight, 07/07/23. Lea, Ashley, and Ryan were all amazing! The food was fantastic but the customer service they each provided was above and beyond. It was our first time at this location but definitely not going to be our last! Thank you again Lea, Ashley, and Ryan! Y’all were truly amazing!!

We found O'Charlies shortly after moving here.Had this review been written a couple of months ago I would have non stopped the Rave. The food was u surpassed, great varied menu. But as many great places have been trashed by Bean Counters and Middle Managed to death. O'Charlies is making stupid changes that are killing my fave eatery. To the owner, I hope you read this, fire the moron's whom are killing this place or watch it close down.The ambiance was as good as it gets, the staff was happy they bubbled with loving their job and customers. Not now. There is a sadness that permiates the atmosphere. The building is very nicely done good sound system, plenry of roomy seating. Nice tables and booths. Good lighting, great zir filtration. Go back to the last five months of changes get your regular clientel back, just raise the prices to stop the bleeding. We your oatrons would be happy to pay a bit more to be back homeI want my fave place to continue being there.Bill & Lois Smith, and your new fries suck!

After a long trip out west, we were looking for a restaurant that could handle a busload of hungry travelers. I called ahead and asked the manager at O'Charley's if they could take 44 people for a late lunch. They said "sure" so we headed there for lunch. When we arrived, they had prepared a separate room for us. The tables were set with place settings and ice water. After being seated, two wait staff took our orders. The meals arrived quickly. I ordered the Crabcake Dinner with a side of rice. It was delicious...probably one of the best meals of our trip. Others had good things to say about their food and the great service we received. We were done and back on the bus in a little over an hour.

Don't use this site's take out service. I have used it three times and all three times the order has been incorrect or bad. Yesterday was the last straw. I ordered the honey drizzle chicken meal. The chicken patty was very small. I honest think I would have more chicken getting two tenders. No honey drizzle. Ordered a Cesar side salad as one of my sides. The lettuce is the salad was brown and slimy. There is no quality control at this restaurant. Talked to Dave, the general manager and he told me they are not perfect. He's got that right. Hopefully they will refund me for my meal like I asked but I am not hopefully they will even do that. NEVER going back!!!

This is my first time I have ever been here and I had an amazing time. I haven’t had an experience like this in a long time. Our server Riley was amazing and the manager was so kind. I will be returning, I’m excited to try other items they offer.

We had a large group of 20 to celebrate commencement and a birthday today. Sash was AMAZING! She was truly on top of EVERYTHING!! We had a great experience and will be celebrating our milestones there in the future. Thank you!
