very good people and food
Food was fantastic. Two of us had the Festi Chicken Sandwich with fries. Be prepared to be hungry when you come here. Lots of food at a very reasonable price. I don't often write reviews (this is my first) but I couldn't let this great dining experience go untecognized!
Love Fish Friday but wings are a close second! Service fairly quick as Friday evenings can get crowded. Fish any style is great and the fish sandwich is mostly fish and a little bun to hold it!👍
One of my favorite local dives. The owner and his sons do a great job of taking care of everyone, including conversation and good natured harassment. Their food specials are amazing and plentiful- fish Friday is a must. Crowd can get rowdy in a 'it's the weekend and I love everyone' kind of way. She ain't fancy, but she feels like home.
Very down to earth tavern

We have eaten there a lot and the food has always been great!! We have never had anything bad and my husband would always say best fish around and couldnt wait for Friday evenings! Great service too!!!
Either I'm getting old or the music was way too loud for a Thursday afternoon but other than that food was great service was excellent ?.

Arrived at around 5 P.M. on a Friday for the fish fry. The place was very busy with a healthy crowd but not entirely packed. Conner was our server and he provided us with our beverage choices in a hasty manner. Party of six and we mostly elected to have the fish but one chose chicken strip salad and another the beef patty plate. The side salads that came with the meals were very nicely done with a multitude of dressings to pick from. I got a side of deep fried Brussel sprouts that included a delicious dipping sauce along with an order of sweet potato fries. There were two rather large pieces of beer batter fish and one of us had it broiled and found it quite tasty.! Sweet tea, beer and lemon aide to drink. The lemon aide was a bit lacking in flavor and was happily replaced with soda pops! The sweet tea was constantly being refilled and for as busy as it was,the service was very adequate. This place was laid back and overall the food was of a good value and everyone was pleased with their meals...

Dive bar that has great food at a good price and deserves to be on Diners Drive-Ins and Dives. I had their Sunday fish special which was a large 7 oz Cod fillet deep fried on a hoagie bun with their Tavern fries that are very unique. Well I did not order them , Their handmade boneless wings looked wonderful and apparently they make all their own sauces. Guess I'll have to come back and try them.
