Haven't been here for almost a year. Took forever to get our food last time. Figured we'd give em another try. Our drinks and chips got out quick. Waiter was pretty attentive at first, took our order, then about 45 minutes later asked us what we ordered. We told him, but we should have just got the check and left. About 10 minutes later we got our food, and not as the menu stated. Several ingredients and sides were missing but we ate anyhow. While I was eating my beans, I found a twist tie, like the ones found on loaves of bread, in my beans. Waved the manager over, showed him and didn't even get a sincere apology just an, oh well, it happens. We did get a free margarita. Yay! After we got our full bill and paid, we never saw the manager or waiter again. Way to deal with a situation. Needless to say, we won't be going back.

BEST restaurant ever! Jose’ and María are the best! our youngest calls them tío José and TT María (she calls all her aunts TT) Food is amazing. We have been a few times had multiple servers and they are all fantastic! My all time favorite is the burrito Azteca. If you haven’t tried i encourage you to please do it! I promise you will not regret it.
we love this place & the spicy cilantro marg is my absolute favorite 😍. We also love seeing some familiar faces from Uncle Titos that we missed so much! We'll see you soon! 🧡
Excellent food, service, and drinks!!!
What a great hidden gem. Plenty of private space as the layout of this restaurant is pretty large for its small appearance on the outside both indoor and outdoor seating. Food and atmosphere was wonderful.
This location has some of the best Mexican around!
Bravo, Tres Portrillos. I ordered queso, and you delivered… half a container. A bold, visionary statement: Who needs a full serving when you can give the illusion of one?
Maybe I accidentally selected the “sad tease” portion size? Or maybe you’re just pioneering a revolutionary concept in fine dining—invisible value.
I especially loved how the container was sealed tight, as if to say, “Shhh… don’t tell anyone it’s only half full.” Mysterious. Elegant. Deceptive.
The decor was amazing, food was too, but service was not the best, and we were there during a very slow period. Forgot, to place appetizer order, missed a meal on our check, and made desserts wrong. Would I go back absolutely, just hoping the service would improve.

In from out of town. When I visit home, I only ever go to locally owned restaurants because the food in this region is too good to pass up. I never think Mexican...ever. This time, after multiple trips per year for the last 30 plus years, I do. And it was absolutely amazing. The barbacoa was the best I've ever had, my girlfriends protein was chorizo and she said it was amongst the best.
Don't pass this place up!
Very delicious, warm and comfortable environment. Waitress was fantastic and the food was too. Great place for a date!
We were seated in a corner booth that was so tight (and we’re not big people) that we had to angle the table for the two of us to sit mildly comfortably and it was directly underneath the music speaker, which made it hard for us and the waiter to hear one another. The restaurant was very busy and seating was limited, so we endured it but note to the owners: one should be seated at that booth…period.
We’ve come to this restaurant before and generally have had a good experience. Although we much prefer the Tres Potrillos in Fairlawn (we only sometimes go to Tallmadge b/c it’s closer). Don’t know if the restaurants are related to one another but the food at theTallmadge location is vastly different than Fairlawn. Fairlawn is a far more superior experience and the food is always excellent there. Both serve nearly the same dishes with a slight variation but they definitely taste different from one another.
Tonight at the Tallmadge location, I ordered the Seafood enchiladas, which was to be shrimp and scallops with a spinach cream sauce. What I received was shrimp and imitation crab and a white sauce (I dislike imitation crab). This was the first time ordering this entree (only ordered it b/c it’s Lent season) and thought perhaps I misread the description but when I came home, looked up the entree online and what I was received was not what I ordered. I picked out the shrimp of which there was only one in each enchilada (entree had 3 enchiladas). I got the sense that perhaps b/c they were so busy and it’s lent season that they had a short supply of scallops and decided to supplement it with imitation crab. If that was the case, just tell me and I would have ordered something else.
It was a diappointing meal. We’ve decided going forward we’ll gladly accept the extra trek to Fairlawn b/c we’ve never been disappointed there.
Excellent food, lunch prices are super affordable
Friendly and fast service polite
