“I’ve been here several times and being born and raised in Hawaii I can say that this restaurant is 100% authentic (real local Hawaiian food!). I’ve “talked story” with the owner and she is very easy going and friendly. It’s always great to hear the words “hi aunty”. In Hawaii it’s a sign of respect to address someone older as aunty or uncle even if you’re not biologically related. The whole overall experience is top notch!“
