Benchwarmers Restaurant and Delivery

Out of the way small restaurant with excellent food. So many items to choose from. Can't wait until I'm back in Tiffin to eat there again.

My husband and I met up with our son and his family for dinner. We walked in and were asked how many people, we stated how many. The waitress, Amanda, stated it would be a bit before she got to us. You aren't kidding. The place was packed, two tables in front of us and only ONE wait staff. How is that fair to your patrons?? That waitress was running so hard she barely took a breath. We were finally able to order our food but when it came out our middle grandchild was left without her food because SOMEONE IN THE KITCHEN didn't read the orders and left her out. I know how that feels being the only one left eating while others were done. How is THAT fair to your customers?! We spent a decent amount of money in your establishment and our granddaughter said, it's ok. It happens all the time. How do you think I felt hearing that come out of my grandchild's mouth. Apparently there were a lot of unhappy customers that night due to lack of wait staff, lack of peoples knowledge in the kitchen and lack of attentivness. We were there many years ago when you first opened. It was great. Not so much anymore. Shame on you.

It's a local eatery that delivers consistent home-style food at a decent price. Don't expect to be blown away, but I ask for extra turkey on the club sandwich. Thanks, Amanda and Zach!

UPDATE 11/16: The Alpine with swiss, grilled onions and mushrooms with a side pickle and fries. 4/5. Needed salt for me. For what it is and 19.99-ish with everything (IPA beer, fries...happy.

We ordered 1lb of wings and burger and some fries and it took nearly an hour dlfrom the time we got in till the food arrived. When the food did arrive it was luke warm at best. There is now way it had not been sitting for a while. Only saving grace was the food was decent even being Luke warm. I would not recommend eating here because of this.

Food is bland, needs more seasoning, piggy fries ARE A SCAM. They give you 2 teaspoons of meat and a teaspoon of slaw for a WHOLE container of fries and over charge you for it. Not going back sorry

Was super excited to find this location as we really were sad that the Bellevue location closed. The burgers are amazing. The fry portions are generous. Lots of options for the burgers!

The place itself had such a relaxing atmosphere and the staff was friendly right off the bat....the food itself was AMAZING and sooooo filling. The Miller was nice and ice cold and the sports were going smooth. I recommend to ANYONE that loves a good family sports place 🤌🤌🤌

My family and I were on road and decided to try out the benchwarmer’s restaurant! The service was amazing and they stayed on top of everything! The food was incredible as well. All around a very wonderful environment!

The waitress was pleasant and it seemed like a good place to stop by for a quick beer with friends. There was no wait time and we were seated immediately I felt like the food was lacking with taste and quality.
