Carmie opened special today to host Eclipse viewing on their gorgeous patio. The food was awesome (bourbon bbq sauce. And the bbq. And the fries!) , the service spectacular (thanks Grace!). Excellent hospitality. Highly recommend!

Went for the Easter buffet this morning. All of our food from the buffet was cold. Our server asked how everything was and we told him it was cold. He asked what was cold, we told him all of the food. He apologized and walked away. No manager, nothing. He returned with a bill in the amount of 35.00. We definitely will NOT be back!

our waitress Cal (that's what it says on the receipt) was probably the worst server I've ever had in my life. she didn't write the order down, then proceeded to mess it up. a manager fixed the issue when she came around and asked if we needed anything. Cal was speaking monotoned with sass the whole time, even though no foul words were spoken to her.now for the horrible food.I ordered the brisket dinner with a side of fries. the brisket was the consistency of rubber, and half of it was room temperature, the other was steaming hot. it came out with a side of southern Mac n cheese (which I didn't order). I then let Cal know and she said "alright" and walked away, not fixing the issue (as stated above).my girlfriend got a burger with a side of beans. the burger was ordered medium, but the frozen patty burger that was cooked for her was awful and I'm sure it was rare when it came out. there was absolutely no seasonings on anything we got besides our Mac n cheese. you'd think with it being a "BBQ and Grill" there'd be seasonings on almost everything.I will not be returning. we boxed everything up, and fed it to the stray cats when we got home. this was the most repulsive restaurant experience I've ever had in my life.

Wonderful experience stopping in! I was passing through the area with my family and a friend in the area recommended Carmie’s. The food was great and the service Cal provided was stellar! She was helpful, knowledgeable about the menu and gave great recommendations! We’ll definitely be sure to stop in again when we’re in the tiffin region!

Everything was great need just bit more sports options on TV but other then that a A+!
If this restaurant had not been located next door the hotel we were at, I would probably give it a lower rating. I love me some brisket, so I got the brisket sandwich. The brisket was dry and tough and flavorless. It was inedible. My wife got a chicken flatbread. It was fine. Where they really shined was the desserts. If we could go back again we would just get the desserts. Those funnel cake fries and s'mores sundae were top notch. I can't say the same for anything else we had.

They dropped off food early with no warmers. They said they would be back with what warmers they had available but we would have to find the heating candles, ok we will work with it..... He never came back. Several people called with no answer.If you are in the restaurant or catering business you should know you can not leave pork or chicken sitting out at temperatures less than 140° for no more than 2hrs!
