Definitely a small, neighborhood bar. We felt really out of place there. The fish was as delicious as we were told and that's why we went. Portions were very generous.

Today we ordered a Big Tenderloin sandwich and taters tots, split in half for us to share, and a 12 " pizza with pepperoni, onion and banana peppers.
No fountain drinks but a wide assortment of canned beverages, iced tea and bar drinks.
Let me first say the waitress brought out our sandwich and tots in 2 baskets and the split tenderloin was on 2 buns with the condiments requested. That was so nice. The pork tenderloin was pounded thin and the breading was tasty and crunchy.
The pizza came out next. The crust was thin and crunchy. The sauce was okay and the toppings were what we expected. No red pepper flakes available. The crust and sauce were somewhat bland. I'm not sure if it was pre-made but it didnt have that pizza parlor quality.
On a previous visit on a Friday, we got the perch dinner which was also very good.
Definitely a local neighbohood hangout and colorful crowd. We enjoyed our visit and will be back.

We looked around town yesterday on Saturday around 330 for somewhere to get chicken chunks!!! The viaduct was closed. Mike’s was closed and so was Madison Street.!! so we decided to head to the double barrel!!! Definitely was not disappointed! It was a great choice. I’m kind of glad the other places were closed.!! food was delicious and great service! Thank you, Cassie!
