We hadn't dined here in a while, no reason, just not had the opportunity -wow -we realized how much we'd missed it as we dove into the appetizer! The food was fabulous, the service outstanding. We will not be away so long, can't wait to go back.

Excellent dining experience. Great waitress that explained everything wonderfully. The food was delicious. I highly recommend the sausage pretzel appetizer and the lobster ravioli entree. The kids had a wonderful time as well.

Our waitress was amazing! Took great care of us! The food was exceptional and the GM (I think) even brought out dessert for my husband and his brother for their birthday. We have only been to this restaurant twice ever and both times this month. Each time was wonderful. Our son just transferred to the Tiffin football team this year so we are still learning not the area but IronWood has quickly become one of our favorites!

My husband and I went here on a date this past Friday, and unfortunately, the experience was a letdown. Our waiter was incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely helpful. However, the food was another story. We started with the deviled eggs, which tasted like straight mustard. For my main course, I ordered the short rib, and it was so salty I couldn't get through more than a couple of bites. The atmosphere was nice and the service was great, but neither could make up for how bad the food was. We likely won't be returning.

Ironside Steakhouse is clearly the number one restaurant in greater Tiffin. Highly classy! Great food, outstanding service, exquisite ambience! Tiffany served us and she was super hospitable and exemplary efficient!
We dined at Ironwood a few days ago. We're not from the area. Fairly casual. Before we opened the door, a worker ran out and said someone would be right with us. The server was quite friendly, but was not as well trained as she could be. We asked which was better, the short ribs or halibut. Her answer: "I don't like ribs." I ordered a small salad. The person who delivered it set it down in the middle of the table and ran off. No acknowledgement or greeting of any kind. They seemed to be short-handed. Food and drinks were fine. Thankfully, it was quiet in the restaurant. The view of the golf course was very nice. We're not from the area so it is unlikely we would go again for that reason.

Had a terrible experience with service. Unfortunately, this wasn’t the first time, but definitely the worst. Was part of a large group. We were told we couldn’t order off the menu and could only get the special - because our group was large and the person who made reservations specified that we would all order the special (burgers). Our reservation was for 6 pm. We ordered at 6:15 pm. We were served at 7:20 pm. The two other tables in our group had eaten and paid before we got our food. Actually, I think every table in the place was served before us even though most arrived after us. After telling us our food would be out “shortly” (twice), several of us finally asked for it to go. I’m still frustrated about the service the next morning, our waitresses rude responses and the fact that we still were charged 20% gratuity. The only bright side was that the food was good.

Everything was wonderful! They had a whipped feta as a special that was delicious! The salmon was wonderful and finished off the meal with a refreshing lemon cake!

We enjoyed smoked Norwegian Aukra Salmon, Chicken with Pierogies, and Smoked Chicken Pasta. The deviled eggs appetizer were great. Our salads were served on small shallow plates such that some of the greens had to be moved to another plate in order to cut the very large pieces of lettuce.
