We enjoyed smoked Norwegian Aukra Salmon, Chicken with Pierogies, and Smoked Chicken Pasta. The deviled eggs appetizer were great. Our salads were served on small shallow plates such that some of the greens had to be moved to another plate in order to cut the very large pieces of lettuce.

Jamie is the server, great personality, knowledge of the menu and great customer service. the Chicken and perogies was amazing !! it's a must try. Plus the best Burger and Beer combo for $15.00 come out it's a must try

Beautiful inside and out. No wait for a table and every table had a nice view. Food was pretty good but I’d expect a little more from a steakhouse. The staff was kind and attentive. However they forgot to mention or bring the daily specials menu until we asked, and they brought our wine bottle out already opened.

Great atmosphere, view of golf course, interior design. Service was very good, and food was very good. We will be returning in the future.

I was so excited to go here and when we arrived the parking lot was full of other customers. Remind you we had a reservation for 6pm. Walk up to the doors and bam. They were locked with a note on the doors saying Due to unforeseen circumstances Ironwood is closed. Wow really no email or call to inform your customers that you guys were going to be closed. Almost ruined our wedding anniversary but thank the Lord looking up on Google and found Steer Barn Steakhouse. Highly recommend Steer Barn Steakhouse

I had scallops, the pasta was overdone and the sauce was too thick and heavy. The waitress was very good!

The food was prepared well. Our table had the the Salmon, the Pork Shank, and Sirloin. The meals were filling. The service was slow on refilling the water glasses. The staff was not professionally dressed. Black short shorts was a disappointing impression.

The server was nice and mostly attentive. Our table was along the windows with a view of the golf course which we enjoyed. There was a large selection of food on the buffet and they did a very good job keeping it hot. The lamb chops were a favorite at our table. The French toast was not a hit with us as the top of it was very hard. Overall we had a very pleasant dining experience!

The Easter brunch was absolutely delicious! I tried several items and found all to be fantastic.

Great evening with girlfriends. The Wednesday dinner special is $15 for a gourmet burger, delicious fries and a cold beer. Highly recommend you come on Wednesday night.

Great meal and great service. Tiffany was a tremendous server and the evening was very enjoyable. This restaurant is definitely in a class by itself !

Food was good but not this time . Asked for medium rare came out way over cooked. Plus it was very very salty . Hope it will improve. Service was great !

What a wonderful experience! We have eaten here in the past but has been awhile. Tonight the food was excellent - one of the best NY Strips ever. My wife's Short Ribs were excellent, too. Service was outstanding and the view over the golf course, beautiful. Just a little noisy as it was busy. A hidden treasure.

Disappointment
This is a long review so here are the key points if you don’t want to read it all: Atmosphere was meh. The table was tall compared to the wheeled seats and short compared to the booth. Since these were at the same table it created an uncomfortable arrangement for people sitting together. Service was painfully slow. Many times, it felt as if our requests and our table had been forgotten. The food that was cooked correctly was FANTASTIC, unfortunately the chef seemed to have trouble cooking beef to temp. The online menu is very misleading. The items we wanted were not available, even though they were on the online menu from the restaurant.
Now my review. I would like to add that we once really enjoyed coming here. It has always been our “special occasion” go-to and, since it is over an hour away, we only go on very special occasions. When we arrived for our 6 p.m. reservations we were immediately taken to our seats even though we had arrived about 10 minutes early. They were uncomfortable as I mentioned earlier. I am 5’3” and I felt like a toddler, the table came up almost to my underarms, making it difficult to enjoy my seating. My husband sat on the booth and towered over not only me, but also the table, making conversation uncomfortable. We waited for quite a while to have our drink order taken and, in that time, made a decision on an appetizer. When our server came to take our drink order we had to stop her from leaving the table so we could place our appetizer order. We then waited another 10 minutes for our drinks that we had ordered. While I understand there is water provided on the table, we didn’t want water. Then we waited another 5-10 minutes on our appetizer, which was delivered quickly and we were not able to place our order, even though we were ready.
Before we went to the restaurant, we both decided we would have the filet. This was on the online menu provided by the restaurant. Unfortunately, this item was not on the menu. Neither was the beef medallions with crab, neither was the mushroom Swiss or the pizza burger. So, I settled on my 5th choice of the Ironwood Burger ordered medium well. We also requested more drinks and waited over 5 minutes with empty glasses. Please note, I am most understanding if a server is busy. This night and crowd were not conducive to waiting for drink refills. Our food came out about 30 minutes after we ordered and I realized I didn’t get the tomato jam that was supposed to come with my order. After requesting it from our server, I waited another 10 minutes, only to see her going to multiple other tables then finally coming to ours to say they were “out” of tomato jam. I would like to add that not only did we receive tomato jam with our appetizer, but I also saw another table receive it as we were walking out. Luckily, this became a moot point when I cut into my burger (ordered with no bun) and realized it was cooked rare. When I finally got our servers attention again and told her I ordered the burger med well, she immediately stated, “I can assure you, if you said medium well, that’s what I put in.” She then offered me a dessert or for the kitchen to make me a new burger, as if this happens often enough, they have a protocol for such a situation. Since everything else had taken so long, I asked if we could just have a 50% discount on my meal and our bill. Another 20 minutes after this request we were FINALLY on our way, 1 hour and 40 minutes after arriving.
So, while my husband’s plate was wonderful, and my brussels sprouts were delicious, they certainly weren’t worth the $9 we ended up paying for them. Sadly, this will be our last visit to Ironwood. We were so excited to enjoy this meal, unfortunately the experience was a complete disappointment.
