An old general store converted to a restaurant. In the heart of an old town with really cool buildings.

Had the best grilled pork chop I've had in years! But much of the fried dishes were too greasy. I expect they don't have the frier turn up high enough and left the food in the frier too long.

Was in town so I decided to give Harrison's a try since they had wings for $.99 each. The gentleman at in the door sat me in bar area at a table as requested. The waitress I had was attentive and personable, I felt she did an excellent job. The wings came out in about 20 minutes and were cooked perfectly. The house-made sauces were fantastic. Will be sure to return.

Haven't been to Harrison's in a couple years. I remember the food as average and the setting uniquely cool. Based on the meals our group enjoyed today, the food was better than I remember. Great pork tenderloin sandwich!

They gave my friend a fish sandwich when she ordered a pork tenderloin sandwich and she has an allergy to fish. The Alfredo just tasted like straight parmesan and the broccoli was undercooked. Only reason Iâm giving it a 2 star is because my server was amazing and I liked how the restaurant looked

The man acting as host looked like he would rather have been doing anything else, and was less than friendly. There werenât many people, so we were waited on fairly quickly.
The food was just fine without being something to write home about. Good in-house applesauce and sweet potato casserole, decent walleye. Burger OK but would not advise getting meat well done here.
The bad of the experience was provided by the staff. As I said, the host seemed to be in a strange mental space, and there appeared to be something going on with the two waitresses. At one point, I turned around to try to see where the restroom was and the lady who wasnât waiting on us came barreling down the hallway such that she would have clocked me right in the head if I hadnât moved quickly. She could see me with time to spare and she was speed walking way to close to the edge of the booths but she didnât care. It was my fault if she hit me, I guess.
The lady who was waiting on us, on the upside, generally kept things moving at a good pace. However, she only bothered to address one of the people in our group and specifically ignored any comment that didnât come from that one person (not sure what that was about).
On our way out, the woman that almost took my head off came barreling down the hallway again in the opposite direction and would have collided with us if we hadnât moved. It really would have been easier for her to just wait for us to vacate the hallway at that point or even move a little to her right, but she just wasnât going to do that.
To top it off, as we were approaching the door, the host then came through the hallway, also not giving a hoot that we were trying to make our way out or bothering to move to his right (there was enough space for that).
So, I donât know what was going on, and itâs not the end of the world, but it is something that turned an OK experience, where I may even have gone back, to a definite one-and-done.
