Honestly, this was one of the worst restaurant experiences of my life.
We placed an online order on Christmas Eve at 6:23 PM and received a confirmation that it would be ready at 6:53 PM.
When we arrived at 6:50, we couldn’t believe what we saw. The restaurant was absolutely packed with people sitting and standing wall-to-wall, all waiting on takeout orders. The line went straight to the door. I assumed the line was for placing orders, so I tried to pick up my prepaid order—only to be snapped at by multiple very frustrated customers who told me they were all waiting on their orders too. So we went to the very back of the line.
What followed was surreal.
The “system,” if you can call it that, was this: someone would walk up, give their name, the worker would disappear into the back, and then reappear some random amount of time later—sometimes 10… sometimes 20 minutes—with food. There were long stretches where no one was even at the counter.
As we waited, we talked to people who had been sitting there for over two hours for orders they were originally told would take 10–15 minutes. I thought they were insane for staying. Spoiler alert: I became one of them.
One woman had been there two and a half hours waiting on a $100+ order for her family’s Christmas Eve dinner (like us). When she finally asked again, the employee told her they didn’t even have her order eventhough she checked in multiple times and was told it was being fixed. She walked out crying.
What bothered me most was the complete lack of care. No apology. No concern. Nothing. At one point, another worker came out, looked at a restaurant full of exhausted people, and actually laughed. Meanwhile, they continued taking new online and phone orders. Absolute insanity.
When it was finally our turn, they didn’t have our order either. The employee walked away, came back much later, asked for my name again, and started the whole process over. It honestly felt like a bad SNL skit. Eventually she checked the tablet and realized she hadn’t been looking at any online orders.
By then it was after 8:15 PM. Our entire Christmas Eve evening was gone.
When we finally received our food, we politely asked if there would be any kind of discount. The employee laughed, shook her head no, and said nothing else. No apology. No acknowledgment. Nothing.
No one was rude to the staff. No one was yelling. People were incredibly patient because it was Christmas Eve. And that somehow made it worse. The way customers were treated was unbelievably dismissive and careless. We eventually got to sit down to eat as a family a little before 9:00PM
If this is how they handle their business—and their customers—on a night that actually matters, then I’m happy to return the favor and never set foot in this establishment again.

Never will my family order from this place!!!! 3 hours for an order? Come on man I get it’s the holidays but why be open if your customers are waiting 3 hours for food instead of spending time with family, worst place ever will never support this business . I’d give zero stars if i could

I live around the corner so I thought I'd check it out and With every bite I took- it tasted worse..., the egg roll was weird tasting...,
I'm extremely disappointed in the taste of the food.
It was nasty,
I threw most of it out.
I would find somewhere else to go !

I ordered the Mongolian Beef for the first time. It only had a few small pieces of beef. Our other order of Orange Chicken had half of the container filled with chicken. I’ll never order the beef again.

Its been years since my family and I ate here, and I just remembered why yesterday. The food isn't good. We got General Tso's Chicken, Dragon & Phoenix Delight, plain Lo Mein.
The General Tso's Chicken sauce tasted better than the last time I had it years ago. The issue was the breading. It was falling off the Chicken and didn't have that normal texture or taste like every other Chinese food place. My son took two bites and didn't eat anymore.
The shrimp in the Dragon & Phoenix Delight had some weird coating on it. Hard to explain but wasn't enjoyable. The Lo Mein had a metallic taste to it. My kids barely ate any of it.
We threw away more than we ate where normally there is nothing left when we eat at Tokyo Peking. I think we spent just a little more here than we normally do at Tokyo Peking for the same food.

My wife and I have been frequenting this hole in the wall since we learned that the owner goes to our church. Honestly, very impressed with the food’s quality and taste. I have been here regularly and have seen no dip in quality that many Asian restaurants suffer from. Staff is also incredibly friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for some good local Asian cuisine!

Called the order in and when I went to pick it up they couldn’t find it. I ordered it again and the girl taking the order couldn’t hardly speak English and you couldn’t hardly hear her. Finally got the order and 2 of the 3 things were not what I ordered.

My family loves this restaurant! We love the crab Rangoon, egg rol and sweet and sour chicken. The white rice tasted a little like stale water.. not really sure how to explain the taste but it made the rest of my meal off. This was just about twice that I have experienced this taste. Over all the service and rest of the food is good.

The owners are very nice. They use all white meat chicken for everything which I love and they even play Christian music which I think is cool! And food is a 5/5

The food was off=--my shrimp and lobster was dark and the sauce was not supposed to be(it is supposed to be white/clear looking). It tasted like it was dirty or something, old, or maybe like they don't wash the pan out between cooking the meals. The fried rice was the same way. I couldn't eat it.
I do give credit that they offered to refund it if we brought it back in. So, my husband went to go do that. I wouldn't eat at this place again due to the food alone, but the Christian radio blaring was another thing we didn't like either.

I have been here a few times and I adore their ragoons more than anywhere else I have gone to. The prices are honestly cheaper and I can eat multiple times with how much they give, which is a huge plus. They've always been sweet and friendly and have even given me recommendations when I wanna try something new.

Customer service was fair and fast. The food on the other hand lackluster. I ordered the chicken lo main and could barley find the chicken or veggies all noodle. The cheese steak egg rolls are laughable, don't waist your money. We also ordered the Mongolian beef, it had no beef all onion...no foreal! ALL ONION. The honey chicken almost tasted like they made it with ketchup no honey. Needless to say, we were very disappointed because we were looking forward to finally finding good Chinese food close to our area but was let down yet again.
If you do not frequent this restaurant, you need to! Always consistent, good tasting fresh food! This is our go to Chinese food carry out! We love it! Keep this couple in business folks!
