Sandwich was good, but check the pic that shows the small amount of chips! Not even a bag of chips is given. The Veg SW chili was about as good as a can of Campbell's. But the kicker, only botled water a $1.50 @ bottle. No free water, unless you go to the bathroom and refill at the sink ?

Lovely little place. Great sandwiches and very nice staff. If I lived closer I would be here often.

Breads, pastries and treats are the highlights and worth the money. Meals or other foods are okay but are overpriced. I won’t go for a meal again but will definitely be back for the delicious breads!

The Bakehouse has a richly interesting environment, friendly staff, and unexpectedly outstanding foods for lunch. Baked goods, especially the breads, are excellent. You'll want to try their house salads, soups, and sandwiches -- they will exceed your expectations. But save room for dessert!

Don't believe these 1 star reviews. Bakehouse doesn't sell brown and serve rolls, banana bread, or bags of chips. I think they're reviewing the wrong restaurant. ?

Probably the best spot in Troy for lunch. Sandwiches, soups, and salads are all affordable and tasty. Food comes out quickly. The loaves of bread are a bit expensive, but you get what you pay for in terms of quality.

Bought your banana bread for $6.00 and it’s the WORST “bananaless” tasting bread ever! Never again! Yuk

Obviously really good bread! Also, really good lunch options and pastries/desserts!

Grill cheese was not good. So small for a 11.00 sandwich. Highly disappointed, note to self never eat there again

Amazingly friendly staff, delicious food. That rye bread is no joke! Will be back

Excellent place to purchase baked goods from breads to brownies of differing flavors. Their small pound cakes are outstanding also. I particularly recommend the lemon pound cake and their cinnamon bread. A bit on the pricey side, but worth it! Very courteous employees and manager/owner. Answered all my questions with a smile. They even have a loyalty card. Get it punched each visit, and you get a free loaf of bread after a certain number of punches (I think it's 12).
