I’ll start by saying, we use to love Old Scratch Pizza. However, we will not be back. I placed a takeout order from the Dayton location. It stated it would be ready by 7:16pm. I arrived early, around 7:10, knowing I would still have a wait. But that time frame was perfect so I could have dinner with my husband on his lunch break. Someone greeted me after a few minutes and got my name. By 7:26 no one had came back to my car. I called in to the store because I had my little with me. They said oh yea we got a rush but I’ll check with the kitchen. A few minutes later someone came to my car who was very dry and you could tell it was a pain for her to even be coming to talk to me. She stated it would be another 5-10 minutes. She said they could just refund me. I then said well what good would that do id still have to get dinner somewhere else and I’ve already missed being able to have dinner with my husband. At this point, very dryly she stated I could have the food and get a refund if I wanted to wait. My little was screaming about her pizza so waited the extra 10 minutes. By this time it was 7:40pm when we finally got our food. THEN when we got to open the pizzas, none of them had the extras I had paid for. I am wholeheartedly disappointed because we did love old scratch but this experience did it for me. We will see if I actually get the refund or not.

The Dayton pizza (pepperoni) was very salty and very greasy. I like a greasy pizza, but this was far beyond grease. The crust, hands down delicious! Sauce mediocre. Garlic dipping sauce amazing! Service, amazing! Will definitely try again if in the area.

Had a great experience when ordering for pick up. I’m dairy free and so the lady on the phone was very helpful and honest with my order. I really enjoyed the chicken bacon pizza for a dairy free option and thought the prices are great for what you get. My 3 year old also loves the kids pizza that is shaped like Mickey! Makes it a great experience whether there or at home.

The food is way too bland for the price that you pay. The taste is ok, good quality ingredients, just not enough toppings or spices to make up for the higher cost. Little variety in choices.
