Great food and service however they can't ever seem to cook a steak well done and then want to take back and up cook it, not a fan of this process. Upon getting back its like beef jerky.

This was the most disappointing time I’ve ever had at a Texas Roadhouse. The first of the rolls were the worst rolls I’ve ever had compared to any other Texas Roadhouse. I ordered a steak dinner and asked specifically for NO ONIONS and what do I get on my steak when I finally get my food. I got ONIONS and no mushrooms. I asked them to take it back all the waitress said that all the cooks are going to do is just scrape the onions off and give it back to her. My sister got steak medallions, and she asked them to be cooked at medium and they all came to the table medium rare, and she had to send it back to have them cooked more. We never got our sides that we asked for and we just got so fed up. After waiting over 30 mins for them to take our order. Once we got all our food, we all checked it over at this point and we were super disappointed and not happy after waiting so long for our food. We told the waitress, and she talked to her manager. The manager walked up to us, and we explained what happened and she was like we could get the sides but after sending the food back a couple times, we just said we don’t have time because we are on a road trip and have waited long enough. We asked if we could just have some French fries, and she said yeah, I get right on that and bring them to you guys. We wait a little bit, and the manager never even came back with the French fries we asked for, so we thought that was a slap in the face. Super unprofessional sounds like the manager either needs to step down as one or needs more training. I’ve been to a lot of these places, and this was the first one where I didn’t see a manager walking around. 10/10 would not recommend this place to anyone. Worst experience we have ever had one as well.

Typical New Year busy, food wasn't perfect but still good. The waitress was nice and attentive, but not overbearing. Always had good experiences at this Texas Roadhouse in particular (Troy, Ohio).

This location did a wonderful job today. Service was spot on. Salad fresh. Ribeye steak cooked with a perfect charr and to my requested medium rare. Broccoli, while not the perfectly steamed fresh cut I get elsewhere, still cooked perfectly (not over or under cooked is tough with broccoli and they got it perfect today). And Eeyore got to visit and share a drink with Andy Armadillo.
Overall. It's still Texas Roadhouse where they set the benchmark of what all steak houses have to strive to be better than for food quality, cleanliness, management, and customer experience. To do better is a 5 star steakhouse. To do less than this, is a no-go experience.
This location when in the Greater North Dayton area shall be my go-to location. Eeyore says 4 tail spins for this location. Not the usual 3 tail spins many other locations achieve.

Food is wonderful and so are those serving. However, they really need to think about their seating when parties book reservations. We had a group of 10 for our company Xmas party. They did not seat us together because they gave the big tables away before our reservation. It was fine, but annoying.
