Winans Coffee & Chocolate

Good chocolate poor customer service.

I’ve never had issues with this Winans before but today the workers were not very inviting at all. I had ordered a sugarfree latte and they made it regular, so I called and was basically told that they didn’t hear me and sorry about my luck instead of making it right. I understand things happen but good customer service would at least make the situation right and offer to make the correct order.

A smaller Winan's location but still a solid selection of treats and full selection of coffee and tea drinks. Nice that it's attached to a bookstore. Drinks were great and service was friendly as with all locations.

Vegetarian options: Most items here are vegetarian. Some vegan drinks. Only the 72% dark chocolate is vegan, when they have it. Alternative milks are available for drinks.

The Winans on Experimental Farm Rd is definitely a cut above the rest between Troy and Piqua, the staff is extremely friendly, they work well together as a team- the whole atmosphere even feels good!! We are regulars so we’ve gotten to know them quite well, we live about a half mile from the downtown Troy location and still go out of our way to go across town… we’ve been there quite a few times and service, attitude and atmosphere doesn’t even come close to comparison.

Ashley at the Winans on experiment farm blew me away. She helped me with a very large order with planning and suggestions,. She was knowledgeable, confident, proactive, and even carried it out to my car for me. The time from when I made my final decision till she had everything all buttoned up was maybe an hour. It involved her driving to another store, making multiple phone calls and even a follow up to me. Absolutely incredible. I would highly recommend.

The service in this store is genuinely top notch. I got my drink in record time, and had a lovely conversation with Ava, one of the girls on shift. The manager she was working with was equally as nice and friendly. The drink was amazing some of the best coffee I've ever had.

Everyone there was super nice! Good drinks too, love going here after getting some books! Or just randomly on a Wednesday. The one worker adrianna with the dark hair was super nice! She was so kind and was chatting with me while my order was being made! Everyone else there is super awesome as well

Both Adriana was amazing. The one adriana, (with the nose ring) She was so kind to everyone there. I had ordered many drinks and every single one was made to perfection. best customer service i have experienced!! These girls need a raise!!! In between orders she was stocking and cleaning? she deserves the world!!!!

Love that they have sugar free options for those who can't have it or have to limit it. I had to edit my 5 stars, been coming in for years they have gotten a bunch of new workers and they just are not friendly, I've gone in tried talking to the one new girl several times and honestly makes ya feel like you're a bother for even walking in the door. The 3 people that have been there from when I started coming in is the only reason I still go to this location.

Okay I love Winans, but honestly the girl with the black hair that works here has completely messed up my orders every time. Literally wasn't paying attention while I was ordering and gave me the wrong chocolates and screwed up making our drinks bec she was gossiping with a guy that seemed to work at the bookstore. 0/10 on her but everyone else is nice as can be and never messes up
That was three weeks ago, today I went back to give it another try and they messed up again on both drinks and we're all rude.
