We stopped last night for first time.. it was recommended by a friend. He said they had the best steak around… he was not kidding!! We got the blackened filet and In my 49 years on earth this was absolutely the best filet me and my husband have ever had!!! The staff and our waitress were GREAT and very friendly. This place is a hidden gem. Let me first start with the service top notch from walking in the door to being seated to food runners. All so welcoming and friendly this was our first time and it made such a positive impression we will gladly drive the 50min to this place. Next up the food for appetizers we got the pretzel, tavern kegs and the cheesy bread all three were fantastic definitely fresh and homemade no frozen stuff. I had the steak shish kabob with salad and wedges. The food was 10/10. The service was great. The only reason I put a 4 star for service was because they were really busy and we had a 40 minute wait for two people. We ordered the kabobs because we knew the wait would be even longer if we ordered steak. The only tables are for 5 people and above. There were a lot of couples at these tables along with couples waiting. They really need to add 2 person tables.
