Great place for British Style food. Only Delicious Cod fillets are used, Beer Batter coated and then fried as per your order! Served with Fries, Cole Slaw, Mushy Peas, bread and Tartar Sauce, Ketchup. There are also Jumbo Breaded Shrimp. Take Out and Dine In orders welcomed. Full Bar and Soft Drinks available.
We went for the fish fry. It was ok. It took longer than we expected to get our food and get a table. I'm not a fan of mushy peas ,and I generally like peas quite a bit. Why mush them?! They taste fine steamed. Everything else was good, Cole slaw and the fried fish. The band was really cool to listen to! I was waiting for couples to do some swing dancing! The music was a welcome added touch!
First time coming here for the fish & chips & mushy peas, they were so good, we will be back . very friendly people, Cliff, Peter, & Nigel were so welcoming and was great to hear some fellow brits. ... Dawn & Rob
