I was attending a family luncheon on Tuesday, October 7th, around 12:30, 6 attendees. I've been to Mavis Winkles occasionally. Everyone in the group agreed the food was excellent and the portion sizes were good. Reasonable prices too. The service was excellent. I will continue to come back.
Nearby Dr. Snelson recommended this restaurant-my friend and I had never been. Our waiter Robert, Who has been at the restaurant For 23 years, went over the top, including being unflappable when we spilled an entire bottle of root beer and ice and broke The glass on the table.. Overall the atmosphere was nice, pretty much what you'd expect from an American Irish pub. The service was good, it was quick. The food was good. My husband loved his burger and chips. I was disappointed by my corned beef and cabbage. As someone who has corned beef every chance I get, I've tried a LOT. This place had very little flavor in their corned beef. They definitely need to let their corned beef sit in the brine longer or add more spices if they make their...
