If you hear about Mr. chicken. It's a good place. The chicken is good and they have mashed potatoes and coleslaw and such. They also have biscuits apple pie and some drinks. They have those fried apple pies like McDonald's used to have before they started making the baked pies. Except that they have sugar and cinnamon all over them, which I'm not crazy about. But, this is not a place for eating in. Google kept asking me dumb questions focused on eating in even after I already answered a question about dining in.

Went online and ordered a 3pc dinner chose the sides the site allows me to, when picked up the guy says I'm only entitled to two sides, b7t why the site allows you to puck 3? Then they don't call you to inform and let you pick the one you want, no he make the decision and give what he feel like.

First and second time I ordered the fried green tomatoes there were no issues third time I ordered a 5-piece fried green tomatoes because I like them so much when I got home the fried green tomatoes were slightly crispy on the outside and gummy on the inside I called the restaurant was told I would have to bring the food back in so they can look at it and they would replace the food what if I don't want it replaced with fried green tomatoes because it'll be the same thing I was told we're sorry but that's our policy we will have to return it with the same item that to me is a crock a bull 🐂

Start off by saying the man at the drive thri was on it.. he was very polite and welcoming. My first time here, drive past here a lot.. Decided to give it a try. Got the Wednesday special 3pcs with mashed potatoes, slaw, and a biscuit. The cole slaw was crisp and moist, very tasty. The mashed potatoes and gravy, not a fan of mashed potatoes at all but.. these were actually very good. The gravy was very flavorful. The biscuit was fluffy and warm with a good buttered flavor. Now the Chicken. Says its Cleveland's Favorite.. well, I can see why. It was perfectly browned, breading was just right, not overbreaded and had a good flavor in the crispy skin. Then the impressive part is the flavor penetrated into the meat. The meat was tender and juicy and full of flavor. With all the chicken places out there, this place stands out above the rest. Thanks for a good lunch!

Outside of the fact that everybody's money is tight when you decide to go to Mr. Chicken, you expect to get what you asked for and what you paid for. because they're. I know that good help is hard to come by, especially since the pandemic. however, me being a chef of 30 years working in high-end restaurants like Nordstrom's, Hyde Park, Houlihan's first thing, a customer service rule that employees should be trained is that the customer is always right! You should never argue back with the customer. I being a Chef I have to have a detailed memory because I have to remember recipes from spec. There is nothing wrong with my memory. I am very detailed about what I do because I wouldn't have stayed in the industry for 30 years. I also was a head Baker at TRW. if anybody remembers that company anyway, not only did I repeat what I ordered at least three times. My grandson who was in the backseat heard what I ordered and even though the gentleman that was running the drive-thru window, I think he was more into talking on that speaker and handling that tablet instead of being more involved in doing his job to the best of his ability. I asked for a two-Tenders piece snack with fries for my grandson and I said I want a three-piece tenders dinner for my son and I specifically said keep the coleslaw save your food cost because he won't eat it. When I looked at the menu I know what I saw and I know what I read and it said it was $11.99 for the three-piece tenders dinner hold the coleslaw and it came with the drink. I'm not even going to bring up the fact that I was the only person in drive-thru and the place was dead as a door knob. nobody was parked in front of the store to go inside when I arrived. So when you're not busy and under pressure then I really don't understand why the mistakes. He was very nice. He was very great about greeting. However, when he told me my bill was $18.98 I said why is my bill so high? That being said, took my food paid for it came home. proceed to take the two boxes out of the bag and he gave my son a three-piece nasty oversaturated with batter chicken dinner. We as a family do not eat thighs. we do not eat dark meat at all. There was a breast something that resembled a chicken leg and a thigh and he didn't give me my drink. when I called him about this, he proceeded to tell me that the dinner that I ordered was like $13 and something and I would have paid the same price had he gave me the three-piece tender dinner which is also not true. my receipt is right. he just gave me the wrong food and my drink but I was just so over trying to explain to him what the issue was. I just told him I would just call tomorrow but I'm coming in person to talk to his Superior. my issue is not getting what I paid for so far. as I'm concerned, I am still old, a three-piece tenders, dinner with tenders and a Sierra mist end of story. it's not even about the money. it's more so about the bad service and the quality of the food. just to be clear, I know this gentleman has worked at every Mr. Chicken in Cleveland even closed down some of them so that makes me more confused as to why he made such mistakes. but I think he was really into being on the microphone and being on the tablet. He should have been making the drink after he took my order. too expensive it was okay. I was outside I asked for chicken tenders for the two-piece snack. that's what I got with fries. Dead as hell on a Friday at dinner time. The fries were soggy and greasy and wobbly and wilted and disgusting. they were not crisp and fresh. I know you all want to save food costs but this is why nobody was in your restaurant because you are more concerned about food costs and then the quality of the food. The one set of tenders that we did get they were doable

Man taking orders at the speaker today was very rude. Catching a attitude as soon as we started talking. We were very nice so I don't understand why he had a attitude.

I work as a server and even if people are rude to me I just shoot them down with kindness. So why he's being rude to us for no reason… no clue.

Very old oil made everything acrid and sour. Imagine a sweet apple pie with an acidic and rancid aftertaste. So much potential ruined by a common oversight. Fresh oil makes all the difference.

Love to visit local chains when on the road. Others got chicken as switch deal. I got a 3 dollar coleslaw and 3 dollar fry. Coleslaw was 2 ounces with mostly dressing. Bag of fries had 14 fries. No joke. Six bucks for an ounce of cabbage and 14 fries. Disappointing and a massive rip off. Sandwich’s were reported to be dry and little flavor, had sauce but can’t get tomato or lettuce because they don’t serve those items. Had high hopes given the reviews.

This location is our go to when we just don't feel like cooking, but want a good meal. The customer service is excellent!! The two times that there was a hiccup, management offered more than fair resolutions. They didn't give us any headache or kickback, they simply did what needed to be done to keep their customer happy. I've had interactions with Shannon, Emil and Marsha and all three exceeded my expectations. Shannon Even provided information and recommendations for a particular vehicle when I had expressed interest in one for my son. Great crew, great food, doesn't get any better than that!
