What a shame. Used to be a great place for brunch. Bring back legends.

While our server was very polite and attentive, the food was nothing special. Got the margarita pizza, which I thought was completely bland, tasteless, and had watered down sauce and microgreens that added nothing to the dish. Cheese was very bland also. No seasoning really... We ate it, but it wasn't very good. Side salads/dishes were good, but those weren't the main dish. Seems to be very hard to find decent-tasting food in the Akron area. Bar was nice looking, and lots of drink options, but for food options, I think I'll skip it.

Our server Carlie R. Was beyond rude and just made us feel like we were bothering her . She asked my finance if he wanted a refill we said yes took 15 mins after she forgot and came back again and asked if we needed something . Slow and terrible service very rude if I return I will make sure not to sit in her section !

My friends and I have gone here numerous times and are regulars here. We are mostly happy with our experience but there is one thing that really annoys us: unless it’s the Browns, they very rarely have the local teams on their TVs. Here’s a suggestion: be aware of your clientele and why people go into your establishment. Local teams should be on your tvs, not a random college basketball game or a random NBA game. Have someone pay attention to that so that your customers don’t have to ask to see their favorite teams on your tv.

I loved the beer selection and the menu options. The food was great. The atmosphere is what you expect at a pub-style restaurant while the food is what you expect at a medium-high-level restaurant. However… the service from the bar staff where I sat was mediocre. I waited entirely too long between drinks and for cashing out. To the point that they ended up coming to my beers. The kitchen brought out the wrong food. I ordered the Sesame Encrusted Ahi Tuna and they initially brought an appetizer instead. In the end, I waited entirely too long for the food the beer, and the check. Part of this may only apply to the bar that is enormous and slightly understaffed or mismanaged.I also at one point tried to get the attention of a kitchen staff that came to the bar for something. He ignored me twice when I asked, “Excuse me sir can I have my check?”Albeit, the food was genuinely delicious and well cooked. The beer selection is top-notch. And delicious also.

I had 3 stuffed banana peppers, which were very good. The service was great, and the atmosphere was ok for the patio. This was my first time visiting there. I will try dining inside the next time I visit The Town Tavern.

A place that is easily five-star worthy without having to exaggerate merely to be kind. Their food is downright awesome with an ever rotating daily special. I’ve been here twice and today I opted for their special which was Prime Rib and it was phenomenal, and I appreciate they offered a horseradish aioli to complement the deliciousness of the tender meat. The server/bartender, Marissa, went out of her way to deliver an enjoyable experience as she was extremely attentive and very kind. Last time I was here, a gentleman whose name presently escapes me, was also extremely genuine and attentive. On that occasion I had also chosen their special which was Philly Cheese Steak Pierogies individually hand crafted by the “Pierogie Lady” and cooked in-house to scrumptious perfection. I may just become a regular around these parts. They honestly have quite an array of beers, ciders, and seltzers on draft. When I ate the pierogies I also feasted on a strip steak and it too was cooked precisely to my liking, tastily seasoned, and paired well with buttery steamed broccoli. The side salad they gave me with the prime rib was my first time trying a white French dressing and though it is slightly sweet, I admittedly enjoyed that as well. A great place to come eat and with all the TVs I was able to enjoy a good portion of the Cleveland Cavalier playoffs.

Met some friends for dinner and drinks; we had people arriving at various times. Carlie was wonderful; she took very good care of us, made sure we had everything we needed and was not at all bothered by our multiple arrival times. The food was wonderful, as always!
